10/9/2019 12:42 | Ok that’s a fair point - but I’ve got faith in Mark and the team. I have to say I’m more comfortable than I was this time last year, when David Galan was at the helm (not a TV guy). | mick sturbs
10/9/2019 12:33 | I know - but there is lots of supply out there and TVcos can call the price shots | toffeeman
10/9/2019 12:27 | I’m sure they are not doing it for nothing or at a loss. The whole point of the business being restructured was to get back to profitability | mick sturbs
10/9/2019 12:22 | Nick makes the right point - how much does it cost to produce the £5m of commissions? If it costs £5m that's not good! The key is being able to sell each series on to other markets - where the margin is superb - but that is not something that Zinc seem to have cracked. | toffeeman
10/9/2019 11:45 | That’s a good question Nick. And the answer is yes. They have spent the last few years re-structuring and gone from being a ‘heavily’ | mick sturbs
10/9/2019 11:35 | All these commissions are fine for keeping people in work and pay etc but what about profits? Are there any forecasts or has the company ever given any expectations of profitability? | nick rubens
10/9/2019 11:10 | At least they have not infected this thread with hour trader clap trap. As you say MS - £4m market cap - is ludicrous. Hopefully we will soon see another big stake builder entering the fray. | clocktower
10/9/2019 10:00 | So we announce £4.8m of new commissions and the market cap is still only £4m! Ludicrous. Can’t wait for the market to wake up and smell the coffee with this share. What we don’t need is wannabe day traders buying on an rns then selling an hour later because they’ve not 3 bagged. Total losers. | mick sturbs
10/9/2019 07:13 | I think we can expect plenty more good news before the month is out, let alone the year. So I am expecting the share price to return towards it former highs before very long. The flood gates will open soon, as some cannot trade till around 8.15 am | clocktower
10/9/2019 07:06 | Great news all round imo. fs probably too focused on righteous signalling and not on profit. the new strategy is working, so more of the same please. | kmann
10/9/2019 06:57 | Maybe just time for fresh blood or FS may have wanted something else in life.Glowing send off anyway. Really good news about Reef TV. | clocktower
10/9/2019 06:47 | Sad to see FS going she was a key person, but maybe not consistent with a less BBC focussed strategy.Ok pipeline | toffeeman
09/9/2019 20:30 | With so many programs being produced of late by Blakeway Noth of late it’s not surprising that there is a buyer around willing to soak up any stock offered at .30 Tonight’s BBC Panorama for example. | clocktower
08/9/2019 20:16 | LOL. 🏆🚁 | clocktower
07/9/2019 08:41 | Yep indeed, he is the second steward :) | toffeeman
06/9/2019 16:48 | 😐 👍 | clocktower
06/9/2019 15:38 | CT, is it true your appearing on the Next episode of World's Most Luxurious Super Yachts - Sunday 8th September? Another Zinc production! | kmann
03/9/2019 11:19 | solid buying today, market realizing significance of the new bod/management? | kmann
03/9/2019 07:47 | I don't know what measurements people are using but based on past performance I don't see much profit. I'm invested in the obvious change at the helm - these people are not there for the good of their health and I'm expecting them to get the results they are looking for. Based on the half year results, the obvious need for a change, and a market cap of £4m there is reason to be hopeful of large improvements in the share price In particular the order book is on the up, they are refocusing on larger scale, international - ie leverageable - opportunities which they can sell in multiple countries to multiple companies - get a couple of successes together and things get a lot easier. The results are expected this month which should reinforce some progress and the highlighted 2nd half weighting with some delayed orders being pulled through this reporting period. Next year I hope to see some good gains in the share price In the meantime hopefully we can see a series of steady gains, with higher highs and higher lows. Liquidity looks pretty poor so I would expect that to improve in conjunction with business success which would in turn attract new buyers and buyers in size. | josephrobert
02/9/2019 15:14 | Out of interest kMann are there any others in the media sector that you consider as undervalued as Zinc at present. PM if you wish rather than post them on the tread and I will take a look in die course. | clocktower
02/9/2019 15:11 | So many undervalued stock out there. All you have to do is read the rns' and put the REAL story and facts together. As you say this is so undervalued by any measure which should be rectified in the next results, and further enhanced with future announcements. | kmann
02/9/2019 14:04 | Paxman on Channel 5 Tonight (this program has really been pushed with a series of promotions over the pass week or so) Zinc doing so well by getting this sort of program out with leading personalities to front them. and a Book Lapping production for NG tonight as well. No wonder the share price is starting (just mind you) to tick up. I have all I want of these but having recently paid over .32 for some, and expecting to to it treble this before the year is out - it must be the most undervalued stock I hold. | clocktower
02/9/2019 12:04 | I just did a dummy purchase and you can still buy at .2849 - So the overhang is still yet to clear but by my estimates it will take another few million buys to make it bounce upwards to .31 on offer. | clocktower |
