Given that there was not going to be true news in the presentation this evening here are the snippets I found interesting, others may need to confirm as AC has a strong accent.Second part of Feb for completion of Z21 and 283 new wells to be drilled in 2018I didn't realise that the new drills are infill drills alongside wells that used to produce six to seven thousand bopd, so just imagine if one of those comes on stream.The new opportunity is in one of The StansZ4 to be completed early AprilI got the impression we can expect yet another work over rig

Updates from tonight would be great...though the company should not be leaking info not already in the public domain like before... howvever if would be great if they can update us on the ESP program

In terms of truck mounted workover rig movement and production/exploration assets in a "central Asian country". A prolific oil and gas basin surely can't be across the border in Georgia? Never sure if this country is truly defined as being in Europe or Asia. Over the last 10 years the average oil production in Georgia was about 1500 bopd and little signs of changing.


The other closest neighbour is Armenia across the border and it has no reserves/production apparently at all. Eastern turkey also can't see that?

Barely 100km takes them to South-west Russia maybe Republic of Dagestan. That's part of a prolific basin and onshore fields next to the Caspian and a history of co-operation with Baku and has refineries.

For Turkmenistan/Kazakhstan - just on the other side of the Caspian sea is very close via ferry and base your w/over rig there for a number of months/relatively short movement times - again prolific.

Tajik/Uzbek and other 'stans' across the Caspian sea and perhaps not totally out of the question but getting further away from current operations.

Investing in another work over rig makes sense and could be why they had to raise when they did. It will give them flexibility as well as cut overhead. Must feel they have plenty of opportunity in getting another work over rig.
Interesting that this was slotted in. 'The use of the New Workover Rig will not be restricted to the Company's Azerbaijan operations.'

Maybe the due diligence is further advanced than this RNS made out a couple of weeks ago? Did they need to raise when they did as they are close to putting down a holding deposit on this asset? Questions, questions but it all looks like there is plenty going on behind the scenes.

The Proposed Acquisition envisages Zenith acquiring a combined total acreage covering approximately 3,600 sq. kilometres. Specifically, these include: production areas covering approximately 550 sq. kilometres, and highly prospective exploration areas covering approximately 3,050 sq. kilometres.

Low-cost existing production of approximately 250 bopd transported via tanker to local refineries.

The Proposed Acquisition licences are located in a prolific oil and gas basin with a proven petroleum system. These are significantly undeveloped and present a number of highly attractive field rehabilitation and exploration opportunities through the introduction of new technology and the application of international oil production expertise.

Extensive 2D seismic performed across the license areas.

Finally, if they hope to get this asset though debt and equity so that they limit the level of dilution, they must feel very confident in imminent cashflow from the wells they are working on otherwise debt would not be an option IMO.

The clues seem to be there. Hopefully we get some very positive feedback from the investor evening at The Ritz Hotel this evening.

My Source ravin? that's why its my source, yes on the yellow strip was winterfloods quotes, I think you were right and todays RNs proves what you think about running out of money, having said that why bother taking more just now if they are confident on next few wells when the price will be a lot higher very soon so if they need money at circa 12/16p better do it then than now.
