gregpeck,

Market was spooked by what happened to Timan and at one point, Sibir. Russia is not an investor friendly environment.

cash, agree, but they are valuing the P2 reserves at 10c over at UEN ..

That is just crazy low by any standard, even with the "russia" factor... Normally you would be looking at around 50c

gregpeck,

You don't seem to have taken into account the markets dislike for ops in Russia, companies with assets in Russia have a big discount placed on them.

I only follow this BB now to see if there are any major changes/developments as I no longer have an investment here.

cash, point is they have the production up at a decent level and can fund the drilling that is required to maintain and expand it.. But it takes a while to get that critical mass going.....

Potentially years, then suddenly yes, whoosh, you are self funding and the whole thing moves forward...

My view is that Zen are a fair distance from that moment.. UEN on the other hand seem to have climbed the hill... Therefore they are the shrewder investment for what I see as pretty identical plays...

Just my opinion...

The problem here is no production or not enough production to fund the development programme.. I dont understand how UEN with 2300 bopd and 100mp2 reserves is 12m and this is similar with a few hundred bopd..

Once they get the oil going it will be fine but these russian fields can take a bit of cranking to get pumping.

You can still view the site...

If I so desired I could buy as many as I wanted....but with this company the risk reward is around the 3p level..

I've read on the other site that some are claiming that they are finding it difficult to buy shares...LOL!!

I do regular checks on companies to see what liquidity is like, and so checked on Zens after reading these claims...and can buy whatever amount I want..In other words just b.s from those on lse!!.
