10/2/2012 14:53 | Why does supernumerary raise "going concern"issues ? In all probability the majority of micro/small caps carry some form of similar caveat. | ![]() mudbath
10/2/2012 13:43 | Was that a 'going concern' warning I saw there? Obviously not expecting big orders in the short term then. It seems to me, as I've said before, that they won't get meaningful orders while there's any doubt about their ability to survive. So there surely must be a fund raising at some time fairly soon. That will presumably be done at a price that is attractive to the placees, who will no doubt be friends of the existing board. When that's out of the way there will likely be an order (possibly even two) thus giving the placees a small but immediate profit should they wish to take it. This order will be for a pilot system for evaluation, and is likely to be for a small system, which is presumably why they've decided it's not worth building a full-scale prototype. Having successfully completed evaluation trials, some time in 2013, further orders should follow. This is probably about the best scenario one can reasonably envisage for zen. The worst is that their claims are overstated, no orders are forthcoming, and they go bust. As I'm not qualified to judge this technology (and nor so far as I can see is anyone else who posts on this board) I refrain from predicting which is the more likely outcome. It will be interesting to watch. | ![]() supernumerary
10/2/2012 12:56 | Numerous speculative positions, comprising millions of ZEN shares were opened over recent weeks in anticipation of a blockbuster accounts RNS. The very fact that these weak/speculative short term positions are being able to be unwound at what for many must break even pricing, speaks volumes for the underlying strength now being demonstrated by the market. If there were not such a strong take up, exiting holders could have been cut to ribbons. Whilst being disappointed that the share price had no immediate cause to surge into the 15-20 pence range,I remain convinced that the potental to do so remains.(in spades) | ![]() mudbath
10/2/2012 12:05 | Just to add to that, there is a sales presence in Germany as well errollc. | ![]() dcroston
10/2/2012 12:00 | Peter, there's a raft of good people in the US/Australia who are undertaking the sales process and technical alterations for such sales, plus pricing the potential contracts (if there were to be any such contracts). SC is not a one man band. The two Non execs work for Fund Management/VC's who own c.25% of the company and they have every interest in making this succeed. The balance sheet has been 'tidied', the cash control remains tight (though I'm still amazed monthly cash burn is £350k or so) and there are a number of interested parties whose potential contracts will make the company profitable (that's in the statement). The management must be confident of such sales or they would have shut up shop long ago...still high risk, but the risk is being minimised each week that passes. | errollc
10/2/2012 10:38 | All seems fine to me.. This is Zens year... | ![]() pjj71
10/2/2012 10:24 | Shouldn't we be worried that the only exec director would appear to be Simon Cleaver, with two other low paid non execs comprising the rest of the Board (neither of whom have bothered to buy any shares). Also, we lost the part time services of our ex Financial Director at the end of last year. I hope SC retains his good health, as we seem to have little back up. Comments from those who can reassure me please I remain a holder, and have been for some years. | ![]() peterblok
10/2/2012 09:43 | FANTASTIC T/O of shares today. A close above 9 pence today and we could yet see double figures next week. As duncandisorderly says this whole caboodle has been "stage managed" and the shrewdies are now mopping up large quantities of stock from weak and speculative former holders. Looking good, imo. | ![]() mudbath
10/2/2012 09:13 | Errollc, the last time I heard about Russia they had a requirement for 3,550 FCL'S.As the Yanks say,"Do the math".I will top up as soon as I can..... | ![]() duncandisorderly

10/2/2012 09:09 | I'm only waiting for one of my lager holdings to let's say,"kick in" and I will be mate.I think it's plainly obvious there has been huge manipulation on this share this month. It has been walked up by a group of investors who have bailed this morning at a nice profit who have most probably bought in again at the lows.I am happy to sit and wait but wish I had more cash right now to buy more. There are other compannies out there with huge debts and no way forward worth far more under market capital than us and here we have the cash and the technology. This cherry is ripe for picking... | ![]() duncandisorderly

10/2/2012 08:59 | I do hold it in reserve though for use in the future !! What does that mean Mud? | ![]() duncandisorderly
10/2/2012 08:55 | errollc and dcroston both warned ZEN speculators against irrational exuberance;suggestin Imo the RNS was brought forward in order that an early line could be drawn, enabling Cleaver and ZEN to establish their credentials from a base of lower expectations, commenc I would expect the share price to move up steadily and inexorably from the 7 pence touched this morning. After all, fingers,in his resume of the ZEN chart, did indicate that whilst his projected upward trajectory appeared steep, the actuality was that it might in fact be of a more gradual nature. Sad that on this occasion I was not justified in temporarily introduce a flashing "JACKPOT" sign into the header. I do hold it in reserve though for use in the future !! | ![]() mudbath
10/2/2012 08:49 | I'll go one better mate.If we don't get taken over which I still believe is very likely, once we get our first set of orders this will go to 40-50p within 3 months. If it doesn't I'll never post here again. | ![]() duncandisorderly
10/2/2012 08:49 | What has spooked the market is the cautionary note of their finances. It suggests they may need more money going forward. | ![]() p o n a

10/2/2012 08:25 | jAIL,IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT MOVE ON.If they were to announce a deal or just about to sign a deal these things would be in the 20's to 30's.No one new because that would be insider knowledge.I think we are less than cash again. | ![]() duncandisorderly
