So, looks like the big seller is done (as per previous posts) and Q3 numbers show the annual results should beat last years and improve the balance sheet even further. Requests for a dividend will probably go unheeded but I think we have some goo dnumbers to look forward to in March

I also emailed the company and received the same reply from Ross. Let's hope management act on it.

I think investors have every right to be annoyed at the persistent gap to fair value. Directors acting in shareholders best interests should be using tools at their disposal to reduce this gap.

I think pretty much everything he says is true but it is illogical to get annoyed with directors for the failure of the stockmarket to give the company a decent valuation, particularly after the balance sheet has improved s much and the shares have risen 400% in 4 years! I see no problam with writing to request a dividend, though. I would encourage that. In the first instance, investors should write to the directors, rather than Wexboy, to see what response they give. You should only start shareholder action groups if the board fail to comply with popular shareholder requests.

In case you all have not seen it Wexboy has written another excellent piece on Zamano here

He may be looking for support in lobbying for a dividend so get in touch with him if you hold.

Zamano is still astonishingly good value, we just need a catalyst or three.

On a related note - i've noticed the increase in page views for this chat over the last 4 to 6 months. I'm pretty sure it was just under 3k (or was it 2k) views before the takeover approach. Perhaps this signifies that Zamano is starting to garner attention.

Ugh, you're not buying euro-denominated shares in sterling!

You are either buying the shares on the Irish Exchange, where they are quoted in Euros, or you are buying them on AIM where they are quoted in GBP.

And of course the listing is irrelevant to the effects of exchange rates on the company.

Staff and operations are based in Dublin, Euros.

Revenues are 75% in the UK, GBP.

So a weak euro should boost income in Euros, their reporting currency.

Irish shareholders would enjoy a boost but if there are Euro dividends or a Euro-denominated takeover, as per what was recently discussed, then UK shareholders would not benefit, assuming that we would convert to GBP before consuming.

I am open to correction on the above but these are my views.

Dual listing. Revenue will be mostly free of currency influence to us but Irish costs will not. That renders margin/profit vulnerable to exchange rate but I do not know to what degree. Admin should mostly be in Euro at a guess and I would guess cost of sales will mostly be in sterling, like sales, but that could easliy be incorrect. There's a lot of guessing there!

Not quite sure I follow.

My thinking is that UK revenue in sterling will translate into higher euros if euro remains weak and like you say their cost base is in fixed euros.

But then I am buying euro denominated shares in sterling. Are they dual listed or just on AIM?

Hmm, I should know that......

Am I right in saying that the bulk of their sales are in the UK so weak euro should be pretty neutral for us UK investors?

It would be if their cost base was in the UK. As it isn't, with at least admin being in Ireland, I doubt we have a neutral situation.

And for what it's worth, there is no broker coverage of this company.

I know a little bit about this situation, once upon a time I worked at a related company. I believe that the second and third largest shareholders have a shared history. Non-exec Director PL is connected to both of these shareholders.

So the Board consists of the CEO who is a seasoned employee, two non-execs closely related to institutional shareholders, one non-exec with industry expertise, plus the Chairman.

Apart from Peter Furlong the Directors do not seem to have much skin in the game although they do have a few options.

Am I right in saying that the bulk of their sales are in the UK so weak euro should be pretty neutral for us UK investors?

Anyone seen any broker research, particularly with regard to a possible dividend?

Cheers.

Bid ticked up and no stock available on line!

My fault - sorry! - just added twice as I can't see any reason for fall other than large trade at 9p yesterday.

Given recent TS they should be going up not down!

Some big trades went through yesterday marked as lates. Probably the end of the big overhang I referred to that was soaking up all the buys after the Q3 update. You often get a spike down when that happens and then normal service resumes as the usual smaller buys and sells take control of the price again.

Year end cash looks set to be more than half the market cap (pushing £5m v. just over £9m) and rising rapidly on results that should be stronger than last year, judging from the Q3 numbers. Barring anything unexpected, these will look extraordinarily cheap when the full year results come out.

Well I have taken the drop in valuation yesterday as an opportunity to pick up a very small initial position. More research needed but looks interesting.

Why would an acquisition knock the share price, I'd rather the cash pile was put to use to increase revenue and profits.

Maybe some investors have got wind that there is an RNS on the way to say Zamano have an acquisition in the pipeline which would reduce their cash pile and knock the share price. The company has been saying for a while they're looking to make acquisitions...

Cenkos have been long to a maximum of 34000 shares and short to a maximum of 40000 shares during the bid process, £4k to £4.5k, hardly seems significant. Their highest short position followed them filling an order for 100k shares.

It seems to me that they were simply ensuring that there was a market in the stock and performing their obligation as broker to the company.

I was surprised not to see an amended announcement after the declaration by markantinos, the sale of 2 million at 2p seems to be an anomaly and their was no matching announcement of where they went.
