I realised my error and bought back in yesterday for rougly 10% higher than i sold last week. Have learnt an investing lesson there... trying to make quick decision whilst at work and i completely forgot the fundamentals for a moment.

Im just so cynical of aim companies its made me flighty.

The other element in the equation is that if a merger/takeover is potentially coming, it's understandable that he would want to define the next stage of his career on his own terms.

It looks like everyone is potentially a winner. This is the moment when Zamano's Board needs to step up to the plate.

Ross got a new job as MD of New Business Ventures at INM.

He was at Zamano for eight years, guess he felt it was time for a change.

From a Zamano perspective it's positive that he isn't leaving to compete with Zamano and is instead genuinely leaving to do something new.

No doubt this company is very cheap and has positive earnings momentum. I hope i allow myself to buy back in soon.

Maybe he won't need replacing. There have been discussions with lots of companies. Maybe this will change things and we'll get a deal that will take the ZMNO cashcow into a larger company. It's also worth noting that the RNS suggests he will facilitate a smooth handover so might stay on a while. This seems unusual. I'm wondering what it means.

I understand he is the CEO, CTO and COO. It’s a small company. Try and replace that!

I think of Pageant as an activist shareholder so I'd guess at friction with them but who knows what it might be. Somebody else will get appointed and we'll probably never know what happened.

I sold as soon as i saw it. Its typical zamano low on detail and it just gives me doubts. If this company is going places surely as CEO youd want to be part of it or at least be taking a better role elsewhere ...not simply pursuing other interests. The other thing that nagged me was why are directors not buying shares.

Who knows... may bounce right back.

Could see it being good news actually. The company has been looking for a deal for a long time. One wonders what has been getting in the way. This might actually encourage something to happen.

Not the news we were expecting. Seems quite a sudden departure, but probably not significant mid to long term as you say

Roos Conlon CEO is departing.... not good news short term ...but the trading update states trading is good...A buying opportunity will probably arise as punters panic...

I would not worry about it. We have at least 1.8m/£200k shares traded in two days on no news (not including my modest buy which did not show). Much better liquidity and taking out sellers that persist at this level has to be good news. I doubt any private sellers would be buying or selling in lumps like the 500k or 250k trades given recent liquidity so I think it will be directors or institutions and they've probably been frozen for several years. Better still, there is clear two-way movement so who just bought pushing 0.5% or more of the company? It bodes well.

Having said that, it seems too much of a coincidence not to be related to the rumoured SoHalo merger. I'm starting to think there ought to be clarification from the company.

I'm no expert but I have it as a late trade at 08:28:27 and it doesn't feature in the totals. So likely from the day before and already accounted for?

A few larger sells turned up in the afternoon, but a good day. Another tick up but on much better volume. It's the higher volume and taking out more sellers that bodes well for making further progress. Lack of liquidity has scared some buyers away in the past. In my case, I've held off buying a decent holding but have become more relaxed as liquidity has slowly improved. I actually topped up today but my trade is not showing.

Ooh ... ticked up again. This share wants to gap up to 15p. and the 11-12p sellers look to be drying up. I think the jump is getting closer.
