Robbie Burns said that YU were well oversold and that his finger is hovering over the buy button. Sounds like a bargain to me, Disco old chap.

RSI 32 so not oversold, climbed above the SMA200 now and looks like support from the lower trend line of the recent descending channel.DYOR

Well looks like it's bounced today after a very shaky start. 1450 still not tempting me for a LTH, will keep my fans on their toes for a few more months up to interims.Could be another nice trade!.

Yep. Positive narrative from Naked Trader.. still holds long term position from 500p and his 'finger is hovering over the buy button' following the downturn after TU....

14.14 to buy and no fixed quote for any shares on ii @present. The drop has certainly caught myself and I guess many others with their pants down. However, going forward over 2 quid eps and a stash of cash certainly doesn't equate to where the current share price is languishing at. Still , we have been here before many times in fact, so many that perhaps next time I will travel and not arrive ,so to speak.

basem is back.Reckons naked trader will be positive, stops hit blah blah blah.Let's see eh, particularly as he allegedly sold a few trades in July, one the day before the TU (yes Robbie whatever you say!). His other trades still open range from 313p to 518p so no stops hit by the looks of it.Will he bottom fish or walk on by?. Doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

Maybe no special and/or buyback and insiders know?
Disappointing no mention of it after all the intimations, court approval etc.

daveboy19 - 18 Jul 2024 - 16:50:47 - 6793 of 6999 Possibly the share of 2023 - YU.
Investors handsomely rewarded for reinvesting dividend already.

Initiate the buy back and they can just snap up the free float a bit cheaper if traders sell off again.

Sparky"Fall has been ridiculous heading towards 100m chopped off market cap in 48hrs Incredible and still waiting to see one negative article, broker note etc Please someone post one in case I have missed it."Here you go Spsrky, off the disco daily:YU's shares reacted negatively to their 23rd July trading update. As of this moment it's fallen 26%. Whilst they reported what looks like decent numbers it clearly wasn't what the market expected. With just an in line outlook for the year it's fallen well short of the hype and on deeper analysis it looks like their growth is massively stalling. H2 revenues are only looking like a growth rate half that of the previous year (+40% v +77%) which along with their order book down 9.5% compared to last year then it's all combined to spook investors.Brokers covering the stock maintained guidance with no upgrades which has again gone against their previous 5 or so continuous upgrades.Taking peer ratings and with share price Angel forecasting 178p diluted adjusted eps then fair value looks like 1425p. So only marginal upside on today's current price (1400p).Will be interesting to see more detailed numbers in their interims out in Sept.

Regarding margins, I think the decline is more to do with the greater amount of non-contract (i.e. variable price) business they have been doing during the energy crisis period, which is now being progressively replaced by more fixed price term contract business they have been doing since energy prices have come down.
My recollection is that the variable price business is higher margin than the fixed price term business.
Businesses happier to fix prices now that they have come down.
Better quality business for Yu, arguably, since despite a lower margin you have the customer for longer and everything is more predictable.
