25/7/2024 12:18 | Sparky"Sorry got wrong was looking at the wrong column on lib note 2024 45.3m PBT Dividend for 2024 48.9p"Yep, share price Angel has pbt £44.5m, pat £33.4m.Let's see if they achieve that by year end.The rate of decline in revenue growth H2 would suggest to me perhaps not!. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/7/2024 12:10 | Also Cornwall insight another publication people should use again if prepared to pay. | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 12:07 | Sorry got wrong was looking at the wrong column on lib note 2024 45.3m PBT Dividend for 2024 48.9p If people are keen to see maybe they should subscribe not expensive. | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 12:00 | Sparky"This is why I think YU are going the critical mass route as fast as possible but at a cost ie profits restrained for now so 42m PBT rather than a lot larger."PMSLAnd just for readers, share price Angel has profit after tax for FY24 of £33m (op profit £42m).So where did PBT £42m come from Sparky?. | ![]() disc0dave46

25/7/2024 11:39 | Personally I think YU are going for critical mass and out pricing rivals but at a cost therefore 6.5% margin rather than 8% As SNN has highlighted a 1% shift in margin on large turnover is significant. So dammed if you do dammed if you don't.If you read some of the trustpilot stuff time and time again The comment is YU best for price. This is why I think YU are going the critical mass route as fast as possible but at a cost ie profits restrained for now so 42m PBT rather than a lot larger.Right or wrong time will tell | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 11:32 | I would be interested to know what the booking were in the 2 months before the shell deal. Also interested to know what it has been in the months since.per month. Would show how transformational the Shell deal is. | ![]() fidra

25/7/2024 10:16 | BoD buying?Well Bobby unlikely to, got too many, how about Rawson?, well he's got cash from his sells, does he think they are undervalued now?. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/7/2024 10:14 | A would prefer they take another look at the listing before considering buybacks. Hardly any free-float here regardless. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
25/7/2024 10:13 | SparkyCNA - Centrica tumbled as the British Gas owner said it was extending its share buyback programme but posted a drop in first-half profits in what it called a more "normalised" external environment.Note Spsrky "normalised", namely the price of energy. Posted 9 months ago that YU were only profitable due to the energy crisis, that once prices "normalise" (which despite CNA's reference IMO it's not yet fully normalised to pre crisis levels) YU will struggle.Given YU's growth is now stalling, looks to me their moment in the sun is coming to an end, perhaps FY25?. Let's see :) | ![]() disc0dave46

25/7/2024 10:08 | The company need to do something to stop this free fall. A share buyback would be a good shout | ![]() zubes
25/7/2024 10:06 | Think this isn't far off fair value now (178 diluted eps PE 8, TP 1424'ish).Still not for me though, interims could be interesting (Rawsons forecasts aren't that good!) and the Shell deal - breach profitability and / or liquidity and they get the business gratis!......hang on, aren't Shell providing the energy at a certain price, which I assume is in their hands!. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/7/2024 09:55 | Spsrky posting false info yet again:"Hence my statement why YUs PE is so low compared to the likes of CNA who have no real growth in the sector it declined 2% client wise Yu had 1.4% market shares which has gone up another 35%"Their market share HAS NOT gone up 35%, complete rubbish. The number of meter points has gone up 35% compared to H1 last FY. Meter points does not mean customers, could be an existing customer installing another supply to their premises or another site. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/7/2024 09:48 | Agree and so they should as they have a low starting point to chew into a huge pool the incumbents like CNA are just to big and growth stagnatesHence my statement why YUs PE is so low compared to the likes of CNA who have no real growth in the sector it declined 2% client wise Yu had 1.4% market shares which has gone up another 35%So around 1.9% ish in 6 months So yes they should have a premium rating but YU doesn't it is treated like CNA | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 09:40 | In other sectors, successful challenger brands/business models tend to trade at a premium rating to the incumbents. Here, again, Yu is unique! | ![]() tradertrev
25/7/2024 09:39 | Chaos creates opportunity. New investors will arrive and old investors run off to pastures new.The last 2 days have been chaos and panic Now if YU had said hey we are going to miss our numbers I get it.They didn't and clearly stated in line which was for 50% growth in revenue 42m PBT and EPS of 1.87p | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 09:38 | Sparky "don't disagree and the beauty of holding actual shares rather than spread betting is time."But you sold up years ago!, didn't you:)You are right about time, SB can get you a return far better over a shorter period than holding shares. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/7/2024 09:35 | Age old dilemma of a low free float, great going up painful going down as the swings are greatly amplified. | ![]() sparky333
25/7/2024 09:33 | I don't disagree and the beauty of holding actual shares rather than spread betting is time. I expect a huge amount of stops taken out. It will settle down eventually and then the long road back to common sense levels I say again profitable company, tiny debt, loads of cash with turnover and new clients at 60% and 35% increasesEven it is take 6-12 months it will not be at this level or possible lower for long.Seems the worm might be about to turn as the fall is worse than a company issuing a massive profits warning and loss making | ![]() sparky333 |
