25/6/2024 16:42 | The structured trading arrangement replaces Yü Energy’s previous facility and will support ambitious growth plans by allowing it to make use of SEEL’s significant access to commodity markets. Under the new arrangement, SEEL provides gas and power against a bespoke collateral package provided by Yü Energy. Entry into the new arrangement will transform Yü Energy’s working capital profile. | ![]() daveboy19
25/6/2024 16:40 | Well would you believe it JD, the gap at 1550 now filled :) | ![]() disc0dave46
25/6/2024 16:37 | Worth remembering from February:- As a result, £52.25m of cash previously lodged under the old facility had now returned to Yu Group, with further significant cash benefits expected in the coming months. “I'm very excited for the future of the group and look forward to working with Shell Energy Europe - one of Europe's largest traders of gas, power and environmental products,” said chief executive officer Bobby Kalar. “This new strategically important facility is the result of a thorough selection process and is further validation of the strength and maturity of Yu Group following the extensive due diligence and stress-testing of our business model. “The new hedging facility unlocks over £50m of cash currently posted as collateral and removes a material working capital constraint to the business lifting exposure to mark to market movements from future energy market fluctuations.” That, Kalar said, would provide the company with substantial strategic and financial benefits, enabling increased distributions while continuing to invest to deliver on its growth agenda. | ![]() daveboy19
25/6/2024 16:32 | So according to next door GW thinks they are really good value, but the reality is he is now selling not buying. Couldn't make it up, What folks say next door is 110% clouded via their very rose tinted glasses. As posted, when a fund manager does the PR rounds paying to be interviewed so they can pump their stock then it's a sure sign they are doing the opposite and dumping. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/6/2024 16:29 | Could be trans now! ;) | ![]() bobaxe1
25/6/2024 16:27 | The selling started in April with those director sells. Plus they posted up they were going to update on trade in their AGM statement then they removed it and didn't update, just repeated what they'd already said. Not very confidence inspiring for Mr Market. | ![]() disc0dave46
25/6/2024 16:18 | Interesting. I have a lot of respect for GW and he thinks YU. are really good value. Had forgotten that | ![]() gswredland
25/6/2024 16:14 | SparkyYou always make very childish comments / name calling - act your age chapThe sell off isn't solely down to there being no news IMO. Do some research and you will see that most of AIM stocks got ahead of themselves and folks taking profit combined with the poor timing of director sells has all attributed to the selling - plus at some point this will have to come clean with details around the Shell deal. If they do want a piece of the YU pie then IMO Bobby will make a placing - doubt there's sufficient free float and buying in the market at that volume would simply rocket the price and why would Shell want that. Then it's the question of how the market would view that? | ![]() disc0dave46
25/6/2024 15:07 | Yes, all mentioned for some time now. GW knows what he's sitting on and has said it is redefining their portfolio rules to some extent. He says how lowly the UK market particularly small caps is currently and that this is the best opportunity in 30 years (his words not mine). | ![]() daveboy19
25/6/2024 14:53 | Indeed come July and Fingers crossed a TU, I am hoping for special div and a share buy back of several million. This would cause a perfect storm as the decline has been on really low volume and buying pressure and she would blow IMHO | ![]() sparky333
25/6/2024 14:46 | Always darkest just before the break of day. Look at the bulk of other companies who produce nothing but the bare minimum and these get it for NOT providing info every two months... | ![]() daveboy19
25/6/2024 14:31 | Nice post from SNN on LSE. GW really summing up well why he believes the UK market in general (and Yu Group in particular) have, and will continue to shine in the future. Very refreshing and puts it all into perspective when a top Fund Manager speaks so highly of the group. (Compared to 2 blurts on ADVFN). | ![]() daveboy19
25/6/2024 13:39 | SparkyQuiet today chap. You and your children seem to take note of what a random poster (NG) says elsewhere yet he was wrong about GW / Premier Miton who's actually been taking some profit. It's very naive to think that when a fund manager pays to be interviewed that they aren't doing so in order to pump their holdings for a sell. But it's even more naive to take on face value what a complete stranger posts up on a BB - ergo I don't believe most of what you post and never have.Enjoy the nice weather (all those AC units working away) | ![]() disc0dave46
24/6/2024 19:11 | SparkyAny thoughts on what Shell are getting for the deal? They will be charging a decent commission with some risk mitigation. If collateral isn't cash, which is what they've inferred (but which could still be the case but at lower terms than previous), then what is the collateral?, you posted they wanted to buy into YU, so that means acquiring equity doesn't it, but now you scoff at the idea of them doing just that via Bobby off loading. You seem quite clueless IMO. | ![]() disc0dave46
24/6/2024 19:01 | Proper sad sack, going to such lengths to continue being one as well! | ![]() daveboy19
