comedy - the results weren't out yesterday, hence people are here today. My previous view was long on YELL but I misjudged.

Group revenue of 331m UKP
Print and other directory revenues fell by 21% to 225m UKP

383.3-331 = 52.3 which is 13.64% not 15%

263.6-225 = 38.6 which is 14.6% not 21%

Any ideas why Yell have overstated the percentage reductions?'

Covenants will happen this year, UK 3rd quarter recession, and most customers of Yell are SME. In recession are the ones that gets battered. The writing were on the walls, when they called in Goldman sachs in May

As some shorts close, new ones will open, and so goes the way of the world.

A company that only managed to reduce it's debt pile by 1% in 3 months whilst showing a near 30/40% decline in ebitda has a ticking clock - the time for d4e is accelerating. Problem is, with declining revenues it's not worth anywhere near £2bn even if all debt is taken out.

The gamble is whether the company can continue to generate cash a previous levels, the results suggest not

well 100mill volume..and guess what the shorters are closing out in droves...trying to controol share price ..but they will close out with ease it looks like???

what will agm reveal tomorrow???

this is the only way to make money on stocks these days...bad news..manaufacture..hammer share price and then get huge volume...roll on a few days or weeks share price get sback to natural equilibrium..and they move to netx stock...

lats week bor..thsi week rmp and yell...will yell really be 1p after the worst hammering this morning???so these gusy can make again???dont think so...will rise over coming month..with patinece i expect 2p before any capital restructure...

nice to see they haent put in any moonfruit revenues in???

I think when they stated dilution they were really talking about it all being flushed down the drain for PI`s Ninja - so that 75% drop could even occur today imo.

It was closed in the morning, some have closed then. so it has gone below their shorts holding of 3%, so they will allow it. Keep trying, and if they allow bigger chunks, then you will an indication if shorts are closing on IG.


Considering 100M volume, so it will make sense .
