19/5/2008 16:10 | Add: It is a public holiday in Canada. | leedskier
19/5/2008 14:46 | Fantastic, many thanks! | mad jack mcmad
19/5/2008 14:44 | Lol. Plz accept my humble appologies yf23_1, glad to see your still in the game. This being a 4yr old thread I though maybe you had moved on, as is often the case. thanx for the daily chart. | bushtuckaman
19/5/2008 14:36 | LOL! Thanks yf23_1 | stuart14
19/5/2008 14:35 | what do you mean I'm long gone - cheek ! daily chart added | yf23_1
19/5/2008 13:02 | Stuart this is a useful one | leedskier
19/5/2008 13:01 | I have just bought some more...gold is now 912....when it was last at this price, the share price of YAU was 'little' a bit higher. | leedskier
19/5/2008 11:10 | Yamana Gold Inc. is a Canadian-based gold producer with significant gold production including other precious metals and copper, gold development stage properties, exploration properties, and land positions in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Central America and the United States. The company is targeting sustainable production of approximately 2.2 million gold equivalent ounces in 2012. | stuart14
19/5/2008 11:07 | O.K cool. I'll get on it. I'll add any links people want. | stuart14
19/5/2008 11:01 | I guess the advantage of a new thread is more up-to-date news and analysis/useful links could be added to the header. | dasv
19/5/2008 10:33 | The other YAU threads aren't too bad. Why don't we just use one of them? | stuart14
19/5/2008 10:21 | I believe it is a bank hol in Canada today peeps. | bushtuckaman
19/5/2008 10:18 | Stuart14 - that would be good. | dasv
19/5/2008 10:14 | Unless it gaps down in Canada on open, then a sure fire loser!!! I'll start a new thread with more relevant charts if people want? | stuart14
19/5/2008 09:54 | A screaming buy indeed - look at RRS today - YAU should follow, but you often have to wait till US and Canada open for it to move. Buying in the mornings is often a sure-fire winner when it's on a move. JMHO, DYODD. | mad jack mcmad
19/5/2008 00:36 | I second that motion, but I think whoever created this thread (yf23_1) has long since gone. | bushtuckaman
16/5/2008 16:29 | Any chance of having a daily chart in the header please. Med to long term leedskier i think this is a screaming buy. Still not yet in as i would have to sell some Centamin to buy. Won't rule it out though. | chrismcglone
16/5/2008 13:56 | this is set to move up this afternoon. | leedskier
12/5/2008 00:27 | Moral of the story here then is to have your ISA's held with various providers to give you max flexibility in situations as described above. | bushtuckaman
11/5/2008 00:33 | Re the ISA. Companies can decide themselves what they will offer for inclusion in their ISA's, regardless of whether they qualify. Barclay's are a good example. Almost every other provider would allow me to place Centamin Egypt in one but Barclay's won't. Their rules i'm afraid. | chrismcglone
09/5/2008 18:41 | Leedskier, Thanks for that, I might give that a try once I've got some spare cash in the ISA. For now, I'll just stick with the handful I've got outside the ISA. | munin
09/5/2008 11:11 | ''Munin - 9 May'08 - 09:48 - 386 of 388 I agree that they are ISA-able, I suspect that for their own reasons Halifax do not allow foreign shares, without a full London listing, to be traded within an ISA. Do Lloyds have an annual ISA admin charge?'' My online providers told me with dual listed shares it is sometimes necessary to make a call and they just charge internet rates...simply their system has not recognised YAU as dual listed. I hold some in an ISA too. | leedskier
09/5/2008 10:50 | There is a charge with Lloyds, but not much. POG nice and strong, should hit a tenner soon with YAU. | mad jack mcmad |
