My XTR log chart gives a possible short term target share price of circa 4p from the bearish double top pattern that formed earlier this month. Of course news could be issued in the meantime.

The red thumbs down brigade cant stop the tanking share price If the big deal that the shareholders were promised was to conclude in May then those in the know would not be selling off. By the time large sells appear the share price will be even lower.

Down into the 3's I'm afraid as there is no substance to support the fluff.

Well a potentially bearish double top formed on the XTR chart last week (look at the 6 month chart in the header).
Where's the share price heading in the short term? That's for you to decide.

Desperate shareholders are clinging on to the historic "AA agreement" in the hope that somehow it will transform uneconomic 0.15% Cu into a multi million sale. They do not seem to see that the agreement is a can kickers dream ticket. Bird knows how to spin out shareholders dreams into ever longer delays and dilution. The share price reflects this as the market has no intention of being led down the garden path.

Hello Picardy, I think Ascot has changed the situation here, they are taking longer to incorporate this information and package it all up to then present to AA.

The Count - what's your view on what is going on here and why we have radio silence from CB at the moment. I can't envisage any serious sale discussions with the limited information about the asset we got so far, can you? Do you have any new timescales of when one can realistically hope the sale can be accomplished. I see a lot of people are interpreting the silence as either the negotiations going on or the placing coming soon. I can't see any of these at the moment, to be honest, but then why CB is not being his chirpy self is also puzzling.

Zero martix- >> It puts open pit mining in the hospitable environment of Australia into a good focus.<<
Good watch that was cheers, discovery was nuts back then, leeches, cannibalism, terrain so perilous you would not know if you would live or die.

If you't thought about it jeansy you'd have realised its been on very low volumes, except on the 10th after what some thought were disappointing assays. In fact those were for drills deliberately targeted to find the edges, so not very relevant. That there has been a change in CB's thinking about tactics is more likely. But that is because the whole of BR has been found to be more complex, so to establish proper value, CB ought to be considering his drilling programme and, maybe, shouldn't have been so definite about completing exploration around now. Food for rather more thought than you display, including whether the African assets will deliver whatever cash might be needed to extend the BR programme. All complicated by the markets tanking everywhere else, which might have caused some to sell eveything. Think Man !

Very interesting viewing:

It puts open pit mining in the hospitable environment of Australia into a good focus.

Grades are good, but ease of extraction in the face of diminishing grades is the key.

Very interesting to see the reference to fibre optics for telephone systems taking the heat off the copper market in the 90's. How that demand resurges in the face of our contemporary needs ... wind turbines, electric cars, etc.

There is also the video of the Swedish open pit mine that Colin Bird has visited in the last year, utilising electic autonomous vehicles and further driving down the cost of extraction.

The fall from 7p to below 5p in a short space of time says it all really. It is not looking promising is it ?!

Steady selling now as the sinking ship is abandoned. Not good at all. I note that a fair few of the old timers who apparently had large holdings no longer post over at the lse echo chamber. I wonder why that is. They used to post all the time. Perhaps they were involved in the forward selling and have now moved on ? hum

Hi avsome1968. Congratulations on your success with ARCM. Who can tell how far XTR will fall in the short term? I'd guess 4.5p, though 4p is a possibility going by the bearish double top that's formed on the XTR chart within the last week, or so. Of course news is King, but when will good news be issued?
I currently only hold 2 shares: GPM & MILA as I 'm very bullish on gold in these troubled times.
