06/6/2024 03:00 | Copper has had a great run, went too high....then traders sell....the smart people don't look at the day to day goings on, but the long term trend, which is up. Where is all the copper going to come from? Just takes a little bit of vision to see what is going to happen and where you want to be involved. I want to be involved in copper explorers and I'm not bothered about the daily gyrations of the copper price. What we have seen is just an example of where the copper price is going over the course of the next few years. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo

04/6/2024 13:28 | CB’s phone must be buzzing at the moment given the number of copper assets his companies hold in what has become a raging bull market, with a scramble for assets taking place. Just a question of which of his companies will be the first to benefit from some M&A activity imo, so my bets are hedged with stakes in two of them, and of course JLP - which must be a very juicy target for a major. | ![]() the skipper

03/6/2024 11:41 | Taken a position here this morning on the basis that at current and projected copper prices Bushranger has to come back into play. BHP are desperate to expand their copper assets, as evidenced by their recent failed bid for Anglo American, but the Zambia assets are also very attractive, so two bites at the cherry. Little wonder that I had to use a fill or kill order for both trades this morning. | ![]() the skipper |
