18/3/2022 02:10 | You can see why majors are searching for large copper deposits outside of these problem areas. Water, environmental and social issues are ongoing and will probably increase, exacerbating an already tight copper supply market. Good for the Cu price and good news for copper projects in safer jurisdictions. When you look at Bushranger and compare it to other similar type projects in South America one may observe at first glance that those projects are higher grade, and thus at first glance seem better. However, with experience you will understand they are generally in remote difficult to access locations, have water issues in Peru and Chile or land rights issues with tribes in the jungle type projects. The cost to build these mines and the difficulty to build them is increasing. Then, compare that to the excellent location of Bushranger with no water or land issues, easily accessible power and first class infrastructure in a country which has a solid rule of law and is generally very pro-mining. These things matter and give us tremendous value. | the count of monte_cristo
17/3/2022 22:52 | free stock charts from uk.advfn.com The EMA's are similarly placed in relation to each other as back in December. I see the 10 day EMA has received support from the 100 day EMA like back in December. Interesting. Probably just coincidence, but it could have some significance. Hope it's the start of an upsurge in the XTR share price We shall see. PS looking at the long term chart in the header there was a bullish Cup and Handle pattern that formed in early February when the share price rose above 6p and up to over 7p. The target from that breakout was the high of January 2021, but the the share price failed to achieve that target. Possibly the worsening situation regarding Russia and Ukraine was behind that failure. Is the XTR share price poised for another tilt at that January 2021 high? | papillon

17/3/2022 14:46 | Good find, MARKinvestor. I see there is another 100k UT TRADE @ 5.96p just gone through. That's the 2nd so far today. Couple that with a few 250k trades where reporting has been delayed and were obviously buys going by the prices quoted and when they were timed at. It does look like a big buyer is accumulating. I wonder if we can approach and surpass last month's 7.3p intraday high within the next few weeks? | papillon
17/3/2022 12:13 | Mms want your stock look at small spread looks like we have a buyer starting to collect shares now . | goforgold1

17/3/2022 11:43 | Hopefully that should focus some attention on XTR apart from other mining companies. | denjon
17/3/2022 11:26 | I believe that todays move is GLENCORE related: Global commodities house Glencore will sell the CSA Copper Mine in NSW's Cobar region to an American special purpose acquisition company for $US1.1 billion, plus an ongoing royalty. Street Talk understands Glencore and the SPAC, NYSE-listed Metals Acquisition Corp, signed a binding agreement on Thursday after months of talks. The deal was said to value CSA at 4.5-times expected earnings, and would be funded with a combination of fresh debt and equity and cash. Glencore will also take a small stake in Metals Acquisition Corp as part of the agreement, sources said, and receive a small royalty from CSA's future production. Located near the NSW town of Cobar, CSA produces between 40,000 and 46,000 tonnes of copper in concentrates per year and also produces a silver byproduct. The mine operates 24 hours a day, employs 500 people and its copper is sent to the Port of Newcastle for export to smelters in Asia. It has a remaining mine life of nearly 20 years. | markinvestor

17/3/2022 10:21 | There's been a recent flurry of buys. There must be a reason. Could it be an RNS imminent? Or is it just that XTR is seen as being cheap? | papillon

16/3/2022 18:11 | On March 2nd Colin mentioned the road to 2 million resource about a third of the way in. He also is impressed by the open ended South. Overall he is optimistic especially about the contribution of Ascot.. We can only wait patiently while the drills turn and Colin updates the market as to how far we are on this road or what will be in the final offering. | arcadian |
