Not sure why UK's largest listed broker is not giving a live quote after 60,000 shares
at 5.7p to buy. Thur, 11 Nov 2021 @3:53pm

Anyone else have a different quote eg IG etc?

How did people come to know about Xtract Resources?
No one was interested in XTR because they had projects in places that most did not know about. John Cornford, Mining Analayst noticed that a Greatlander had landed at XTR for Colin Bird's porphyry drilling in Australia.

A lot of people did not listen to Colin Bird's interview in Dec 2020 about Racecourse including many of the legacy holders in XTR. I think it was Zak who did this 1st interview on Racecourse with Mr Bird in Dec 2020.

GGP "RAMPERS"
When GGP first started drilling, again, most people did not know much about the
Havieron project. However, many did know about Ernest Giles and the major walking.
So, the Havieron project was again, NEW at the time. What was of interest was that
it was close to the Telfer mine, some 45km away. So, all they had was this BULLS-EYE anomaly at Havieron and legacy drillng by Newcrest did NOT show high grades etc.
However, the MAGNETICS was quite extensive ie 1km x 1km which quite decent.

The first set of drills were for 5 holes. Some were quite good but the VISUAL RNS at HOLE 5 at Havieron stated that there was "MASSIVE SULPHIDES" When "massive" sulphides was mentioned, there was a howler: " M A S S I V E , M A S S I V E!!!" from someone who said he studied geology in his teens.

Assay results came out for Hole 5 and it was really good including a few of the earlier holes.

Many on the forum said that people were RAMPING because there was NOTHING at Havieron despite the results which was carried in the Australian newspaper etc to be one of the best to come out of Australia.

In fact, from RESEARCH, some of the Havieron assay results were better than Telfer.

So, all the early investors got LUMPED into this label of "rampers" despite the fact that the assay results were matched against Telfer and better from research. Oh, yes, one used to call the CEO...x and y, and z as well given he said that it was a big system.

There were 2 big holders, one of which was a TR-1 holder who held 6% of the stock and he was a former well known household name from the Sunday Times Rich List.

It was basically one chap who truly truly believed that Havieron was nothing despite the results and the publicity in Australia.

As the step-out progressed, more good results came out. At a later stage, it became so bad with these nothing biz that he was removed given the howls etc.

Then, he came over to another forum and started again. For some reason, he believed that Havieron was nothing.

In the end, it was declared world class and when Newcrest JV*ed in and they had
state-of-art drilling equipment that can do instant results, there was no more denial from anyone and the whole forum EMPTIED of the skeptics. After just 9 holes, Newcrest JV*ed in. Many said that one needs a PFS/DFS etc and that the results were not good enough despite the industry telephoning the CEO to congratulate him.

In the end, the chap took his name off himself. The skeptics never posted ever again on the Havieron forum and not seen since there.

Today, Havieron is a legendary story and John Cornford said that it is the fairy tale for a junior explorer to find something like that.

Yes, from the results that Newcrest has been pulling out of Havieron , they do now attest to the fact that the suphides are massive ie the grades are really good.

That is why John Cornford wrote up on XTR to say that Racecourse is potentially
prospective but no one yet knows if it is something that the Greatlanders will find is another Havieron.

Yes, it always the dream of junior mining investors to find the next Havieron, the next Alpala but these dont come along often and they are once in a life-time
finds.

So, that is the background of called "rampers" by the skeptics who have today emptied
the Greatlander's forums and they are not longer there as the legendary status is now stomething of fact and a part of the Paterson story, Western Australia.

This is the background to the rampers mention on XTR and one that most people know about but one that skeptics now know to be a LEGENDARY STORY which Cornford
documented in the preface on XTR.

Wed, 10 Nov 2021.

The story of XTR will be the same as is of all these finds eg Solgold*s Alpala-the cry of rampers will also be the same but HISTORY will prove or NOT prove Racecourse in time. Dont think early investors can be called rampers given they are the more seasoned junior mining investors who think a prospect holds promise but others dont think so as norm.
These big players ie TR-1 etc sold out as so much of their capital was tied in Havieron. At one stage, Greatland has a mkt cap of over £1 BILLION and 6% if kept = £60m+
In their place, funds bought in and today, Havieron is included in a big ETF and so is Solgold in some ETF's.

John Cornford*s 1st article tells the story of the Greatlanders in XTR when it first started.
===
On some of the Canadian forums, one does not find this so much as Canada is a mining jurisdiction and many of the posters are well known fund managers in junior mining stocks, 4th year Business Finance students studying valuation methodology etc and a whole host of the more nuanced.

===THIS WAS THE ONLY FORUM THAT CALLED PEOPLE RAMPERS, HENCE WHY ONE KNOWS WHERE IT ORIGINATED FROM IE GREATLANDERS AND NO WHERE ELSE. CEO ALSO GOT LUMPED IN
FOR RNS THAT STATED BIG SYSTEM? That is from history and repeated in the Racecourse story. This is the BACK-DROP to Greatland and part of the history?

==Same story at Greatland ie co is not WORTH 1.3p. On Solgold, same as well as a fund manager or so he said, mentioned that the co was NOT worth £8m mkt cap. The too do*s over the weekends are legendary. Same at REM.
History tends to repeat or so it seems given the more attention, the more
the to do's.??

I'll get my own back by accusing backtothesoil of a few things based on an absence of facts. Since he's obviously a conspiracy theorist 1/ he's a climate change denier 2/ he's an anti-vaxxer & 3/ he believes the Earth is flat. 🤣
I'm a 76 year old retired industrial chemist who worked in the surface coatings industry. I have dabbled in shares, without any success, for over 20 years mostly in O&G speculative explorers. It's only recently (within last 6 months) that I've tried my luck on individual miners, including XTR. Consequently I'm being honest when I say I'm just gambling and have no knowledge of mining whatsoever.
I'm quite prepared to meet up with backtothesoil to prove I'm being truthful. I live in Nottingham which I believe is not far from where backtothesoil resides in Broadmoor. 😁

If he sends me a PM we can try to arrange a meeting where I can prove that I only post as papillon on advfn and haven't posted on the lse for over 7 years, though I have remained a member so can read posts, etc.
I'll stop posting on this bb from now on because of backtothesoil.

Steve ... its his company as good as ... he has a low % and they are priced cheap now and have been much cheaper. All I'm saying is he doesn't need a huge personal holding. He knows what he has is worth.

It wasn't a knock. Younger men would be mortgaging themselves to buy shares in their own company, with less promise of success or return. I'm sure!

His current holding worth about £840,000 at the current share price and will probably be worth several million pounds in the next 12 months, even without the 10m options. How many does he need before it sounds like a lot?
