That seems to be a sizeable beat against forecast. Consensus adj EPS 4.4p achieved 4.8p.

I noticed, in a presentation, that the new boy was introduced as having expertise on acquisitions - then the acquisition is pulled.
I suppose this could be a good or a bad sign?
Anyone more informed than me have a view?

If the positive trading statement is backed up with good results this month I think we have some room on the upside and feel this stock is cheap at these levels. I also see further upside on the technicals if we break the 55/56 level. The board have also made it clear they are looking to make acquisitions and as we have seen today it does not take massive volume to move this stock either way.
