I think it's done on a broker by broker basis. Each broker will get 1 to 26 of each share they hold on customers behalves. These are then divided up among those of that brokerage that applied.

I got 30% of excess applied for with Barclays but guess that was due to
the relatively small holding I have.

There were only ever going to be 7.5 million open offer shares. The only way anyone would ever get any extra shares would be if someone who was allocated shares didn't take up their option. It is those shares only that will be divvied up amongst the people asking for extra shares.

Got 9.5% of extras applied for with ii, disappointing was expecting about 21%, as the rns yesterday stated the number of open offer shares issued to be 21% of the number applied for.
