Surely "a pre-close trading statement in July " will not be pretty - their profit warning was only a month ago.

From the June 11th trading update:-

"As in previous years, the Board expects to issue a pre-close trading statement in July and re-affirms its stated dividend policy of returning at least 50 per cent. of net profits to shareholders by way of dividend payments."

i had seen this. some very chunky sales this morning.

tricky to work out who is in the know in the run up to results.

Seems to me that their are a few big sellers around feeding shares into the market on any rise, plenty of stock available at the moment.

Could be funds rebalancing their portfolios to account for the present situation. ex growth but good yield, undervalued etc.Some buying some selling

I have followed in the Shrewdie who is buying in lots of 100k......possibly more to come at an agreed price with the MMs, so may take a while to move North but looks likely.I'd expect the company to be getting all its ducks in a row for a positive T/u this month, which one would expect to propel the price up quite significantly.We'll see....

Interesting that Berenbergs are now on the bid this morning. Over the last few weeks they have consistently been offering stick. May mean the seller has finished or for now anyway!
