Xeros adds US patent covering its core bead cleaning process

Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG), the innovative developer of a patented polymer bead cleaning technology with multiple identified commercial applications, announces that the United States Patent Office has issued the company a Notice of Allowance on a patent application covering its core polymer bead cleaning process. This patent application covers the Xeros process of using polymeric particles to clean textile or leather substrates which offers marked performance and environmental benefits. The Group's core polymer bead cleaning applications have already been granted in key jurisdictions including Europe, China, Japan, S.Korea, Australia and Canada.

The Xeros patent portfolio comprises 36 patent families 'pending' and 'granted', which cover bead cleaning and bead treatment technology in applications from commercial and domestic laundry through to leather and wool processing, as well as metal surface cleaning.

More than doubled my holding here today. May well come back for more. A bit of a lull in the share price but still buying going on. May be a bit harder from here on in to rise the share price significantly in the very short term but longer term should rise a lot from this point.

The buying here seems to continue unabated at approx 220. I guess sells will be reported late, if of a certain size. Still holding! :)

Am hoping that TMZ a share in a completely different field but has the common element of being future technology,has the same recognition.
Its sensium plaster is undergoing trials in hospitals as we speak but whether it is adopted remains to be seen.

Hi hazl, I also hold trx, and have watched profits of 80%+ erode down to approx 40%. I even stood by as the 50sma crossed the 200, knowing full well that unless it quickly bounced back, the share price would likely continue down. The reason I continue to hold trx is that I have a basic belief in the co's future prospects, but had I traded that basic sma cross, I would now be able to buy 20% approx more shares.

That's one of the reasons I am thinking out loud. I can't believe that the trading of half a dozen PI's on advfn will make much difference to the medium to long term outcome for xsg.

I'm not sure that xsg is at the profit taking stage yet, but I think it's a good idea to be ready. We ought to also keep in mind liquidity and general market volatility. :)

Bamboo, when/if the first major license agreement is signed I'm sure this will fly. Of course, your guess is as good as mine as to when or if this will happen. It's the chance you take I suppose.

Of course we have new entrants al l the way up.
In my case, in some companies, when I like the idea I let them ride.

hi hazl, sorry not meant to be a strange question! There's only a few of us here and I already made public a chart of what I think could be the short term move. I will look again at the chart before doing anything. I tend towards open honesty on these boards, so nothing deliberately underhand from me. Perhaps I shouldn't have 'thought out loud'.

Originally I had planned for a long term hold but thinking about the speed of this move, do wonder if we should soon expect some consolidation or a pullback after the target has been hit.

Looks strong at the moment good support - no reason why this stock could not keep running as more punters come on board after word gets around on the old grapevine.

It would also be good to learn of differing firms who endeavor to conserve water in this way in a different industry....not a rival of course!
In order to get a portfolio of companies expressing this theme.
If anybody knows of any I would be interested.
Not particularly interested in Water Meters,though.
