Thanks BambooThere are some massive markets out there for the technology.Excerpt from the AR:"In addition to laundry there are a number of other exciting applications for this technology, and we have selected leather processing as our next target. This is a market with a value of $65bn and we have made significant progress with the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies ("ICLT") at our shared facility at the University of Northampton. Following our ongoing discussions we shall be seeking the support of partners to bring this application to tannery trials in 2015."

Yes thank you bamboo have already seen the pdf and no I wasn't joking exactly about the idea of the domestic appliance I think it must have been triggered in my mind somewhere along the way....I have posted up a few of the links and videos I have found....it just seems a natural progression to me though of course everything is still in the early stages. It may not happen I guess
I agree completely about the general market and though I have been doing this some years wouldn't like to second guess the way its going.People say you will be better off with the US market but not if you're the wrong side of the trade of course.
Have you seen this video where he talks about Walmart being possibly a good choice if the dollar goes rapidly up and they import materials with the softer currency from emerging markets?
Would it be to our advantage here, with the US being the initial main market do you think?
I am imaging so but we would convert back to the pound I suppose at the end of the day?

hazl, it's probably worth looking at the Annual Report too.

Talking to partners now for domestic machine, I honestly thought you were jesting when you mentioned this earlier.

I'm thinking about adding again. The only thing that's stopping me is the wobble in the general market. Really this shouldn't affect things here, with the accent firmly on the US.

Well I am left feeling even better about the prospects here.
Further income stream possibilities as a secondary market with the beads.
Ongoing research and commitment to research as ideas develop. You can feel the enthusiasm from these people for their product.
The US is clearly the market to start with the promotion.
The known and accepted water shortages in places like Seattle and California and the reassuring knowledge that three utility companies are already on board yet there are 3000 FURTHER POTENTIAL utility companies out there.
Where will it go from here?
I don't know but it is exciting.

It's so difficult to put a value on this at the mo. The upside potential is so huge if it succeeds. I've treated it a my "punt" stock in the portfolio.....time will tell.

I think we are lucky to be at the start of this company.
If you think about it, if that document about the future in 2030 is correct and most homes have a device that supports minimum water-usage and that machine has the name Xeros stamped on it then we could do very well indeed!

Melf, taking the savings suggested by the customers into account, I can see great things happening to the sp, assuming the management can successfully commercialise the oppertunity.

Coincidentally, TRX face very similar commercial challenges. They also have a market leading product but have to break into the US to achieve success.

I would say the valuation should be continually changing as a company develops and in this case becomes a valid and ongoing business.

Melf, John Samuel is also Chair at TRX. After their first CM Day a few years ago, the share price went from around 13 to 30.
This suggests we could see 250-300 over 3-6 months if there is a similar effect.

Thanks for posting that bamboo. Those Xeros chaps are very impressive. Having watched the presentation, it seems probable that the recent share price rise was down to the capital markets day imo.

Quite happy to consolidate around this level and wait for news. Encouraging performance so far given the general market today.

Yes quite strange that, ticked up in the time it took to do the chart. :)

Edit added, looking in a little more detail at the historical chart, there are a number of smaller flags on the way to this recent larger move in share price It is too early to say definatively if it is a flag, and also too early to see what size and type.

Retrace often around seen to approx 50%, so this could represent a good entry point.
