Was getting excited this morning as I thought I was going to be able to sell at break even but wasnt available. Ah well still in and have topped up to achieve the unexpected!!! Still possible here. A lot of activity here today and could well end up from here i hope. Long term holder. Recognise Orion holding and with the POC rising and expectations there higher then their could quite easily be an interested buyer. TBH a copper price 20% higher than today would make Weatherly very attractive At present POC is $7K/tonne and a rise to 8.4K with C1 costs at $5.4K and 17k tonnes/ annum we have $50M profit a year. Weatherly is valued at £20M presently. This could be a really good play for a company with the funds. Of course weatherly isnt just a one trip pony. Anyway all this conjecture means nothing. Lets see how the next few weeks pan out or even today for that matter?

............I have been topping up quietly today, and have purchased an additional 500,000 at under 11p.
To add to the 2.5m purchased in tranches last week. I hold 3m.

............by the way went in for a further 50,000 this morning.

If anybody wants to boost the share price - like was done today with the disclosure of an offer.

Just write an official letter to their head office making an offer to buy the Company.

Offer $500 and say that you are willing to take on $500 of their debt.
And ask for anonymity.

They are legally obliged to take the offer seriously (as long as they can confirm that you have sufficient funds) and release a form like the one issued today.

over 500m shares traded in the last 5 trading sessions ... big churn and would be easy for a buyer to take a good sized stake, relatively unnoticed until such time as they declare

Don't be greedy guys, wait for written evidence of what is going on. At the moment is all speculation and u are at the mercy of potential pump and dump lot.

kitumba was up for $5m - and nobody wants it.

Who will pay 30 times that amount for WTI?

augustusgloop

As of 31st Dec 2017

WTI had $144.6 million of current liabilities (loans and trade debts) - all due to be paid BEFORE 30th June 2018.

So the first $144.6m of any offer goes to pay these.

Then the bankers and lawyers take their cut.
Then there's any local taxes that might have to be paid on sale of assets.

Clearly not going to be anything for shareholders here.

Who would pay in excess of $150m for loss-making mines?

So somebody made an offer.

Can't see why this has had such a big impact.

Many of these indebted companies get bought for £1 (plus taking on a portion of the debt) - leaves shareholders with nothing!
