Sure they'd walk away for 80% but given LOM and the negligible value of the assets then they'll be lucky to get 50-60% and only then from cash generated, nobody (other than Orion) is going to make an offer.

The increase in the copper price is what has triggered Orion to initiate the sale procedure.

Prior to the increase, the assets were almost worthless.

If Orion can get 80% of what is owed -- they would take that and walk away.

Nothing going to be left for shareholders here.

WTI are in a bigger financial hole than were Conviviality - assets sold for 2 * £1 with the debts. Valued at £750m - 2 months later = bust with zero left for shareholders
