Worthington Group plc announces that David Shalom yesterday resigned as Finance 
Director with immediate effect. 
 
David has performed the role at Worthington on a part time basis for over five 
years but feels that, given the increasing demands on his time that would be 
required as the Company moves forward with a number of opportunities currently 
being evaluated, now would be an appropriate time to concentrate on his other 
business interests and stand aside. 
 
Commenting on the change, Peter Townsend, CEO of Worthington, said: "I would 
like to thank David for the services he has provided over a number of years to 
the Company and for his support since my appointment. I respect David's decision 
to step down as the Company moves into the next phase of its development. I am 
delighted, however, that he will remain as a consultant to enable us to draw on 
his skills and considerable knowledge of the Company." 
 
Peter Townsend will remain as CEO and will in addition perform the duties of 
Finance Director until such time as a replacement is sought. PD Cosec Limited 
has today been appointed as Company Secretary.
