Results are pretty good in context. Tide will turn on this but of course it's the oil tide thatwill in the long term decide long term value on the sector

yes there was a report in the sunday Times they will announce they have already shed 1000 jobs in the UK.

Yes I bought then as well. It was an article in Money Morning that pointed it out as a play on the oil price recovering and so far a very nice return.

Am I the only one here who thought Wood Group was undervalued in FEb along with rest of the oil industry? Made some very nice gains in the last couple of months - I think shares will stablise around current levels or fall nearer the election but yby Xmas I expect +10% gains

Thought HTG got their commentary yesterday on the impact of the current oil price environment bang on. Basically said that analysts were behind the curve and HTG didn't have a clue as to what was likely to happen on the order front. All IMHO.
