13/9/2010 18:08 | Significantly different amounts of cash in bank...... ironically I was tracking CSR and thought I would wait wait over to the start of the week.. Doh ! | keybored
13/9/2010 14:12 | CSR flying on announcment of share buyback. Wonder if WLF have any such plans or will they continue to sit on it like they have been doing. | domtheone
09/9/2010 22:39 | bit different today with that large mid day rise testing new numbers then settling back, good to see testing further highs. Take out the cash WLF have from share price and it is still vcheap in my opinion. Sounds like the city understand a sound strategy for growth | keybored
09/9/2010 10:14 | We're starting to get a touch of ARMitis here (not complaining...) | fabzzz
09/9/2010 08:16 | They had a much better year last year so we're just catching up (well a bit ahead now) lol. | domtheone
09/9/2010 02:06 | For so many years we've watched WLF shadow CSR. This year has been very different. | nod
08/9/2010 15:37 | looks like the recent post 4pm action didnt happen today | keybored
07/9/2010 16:41 | not a clue but I am not complaining !! | glyn10
07/9/2010 15:21 | Glyn - The surprise continues. Very lively this afternoon. What happened just after 3pm? | boadicea
07/9/2010 13:56 | Citi analysis (from last Friday) Wolfson - Becoming More Strategic; BUY - Like a deep-fried Mars bar, customers have historically struggled to find the 'nutritional value'. As evidenced by strong design-in momentum for its AudioHub products at tier-1 consumer electronics OEMs however, we believe WLF is demonstrating that it has a differentiating edge now. Our analysis suggests only modest expectations of a bid for this company, yet we see this as a strong strategic buy for a company with the right stomach (scale and mixed-signal expertise) to digest it. I'm not holding as I prefer CSR, so just for info. DYOR. | evox
07/9/2010 08:18 | away for a few days and a nice surprise with the share price on my return. Surprisingly small volume considering the price rise? | glyn10
06/9/2010 19:36 | worth a read ...... AT | keybored
06/9/2010 17:50 | Aye trickle volume and still powering ahead. Lord knows what'll happen if someone comes in (or out) for a meaningfull (6 figure) amount. | domtheone
06/9/2010 17:07 | very strange hardly any activiity today until that period, then almost all buys of not institution size ticking it up | keybored
06/9/2010 16:53 | It has become rather the norm for WLF's share price in the last 30 mins of trading to behave a little erratically during most of this year, but the last 3 days or so is rather odd. Thoughts anyone? | fabzzz
03/9/2010 18:34 | Samsung sounds quite likely; Toshiba would be an interesting new addition. It does rather look as if someone is in the know about something. | boadicea
03/9/2010 18:24 | interesting Samsung and Toshiba Ipad type products on 10oclock news last night - given wlf in samsung wave and galaxy already - poss in one or more of these new products soon to be launched ? | pjw956
03/9/2010 13:27 | Here we go again. | domtheone
02/9/2010 18:57 | Looks like someone's been caught short at the end of the day for the second time in 3 days. It's difficult to believe it could be an normal buyer as they could have accumulated shares steadily during the day rather cheaper. I suppose there is the possibility of someone wanting to get a position without pushing up the average price of the day's ordinary trading. By getting them in the closing auction it does not seem to carry over to the next day or become reflected in the mm's quotes. All rather strange, possibly even slightly suspicious, especially when coupled with the recent unexpected resilience in the share price | boadicea
02/9/2010 15:16 | Or maybe sooner.. | domtheone
01/9/2010 14:16 | Bid hovering around the 200p mark for a while now. Just need some Insti's to start buying/adding. 3rd Qtr results in several weeks may kick start something. | domtheone
31/8/2010 19:09 | That was the result of the closing auction (Uncrossing Trade). It does rather look as if someone was caught facing the wrong way after a weak morning and a fairly robust late recovery. Unfortunately it may not necessarily feed through to tomorrow - but no harm in hoping! | boadicea
31/8/2010 16:25 | largest trade of the day £50k after the bell at the day high ! | keybored |
