07/5/2014 14:08 | will the regulators investigate these ?? who can we complain to | fxscotland
06/5/2014 19:07 | well of course they were ! in a way surprising there were not more - cirrus must have been looking at the books for a while - so many people must have known ! I am surprised there still appears to be so many trades .. | pjw956
06/5/2014 15:27 | what about those large trades days before news, insider dealing ???? | fxscotland
29/4/2014 18:37 | Well done to investors who bought in the last six months. An overseas acquisition shows once again how poorly UK investors value UK tech companies leaving the door wide open for overseas buyers to acquire British technology. We will likely see a lot more of this if valuations don't improve. | nod
29/4/2014 14:10 | For me I don't think this is a good deal for long time holders (wolf never paid a dividend ) They have sold out to early in my opinion fwiw. the buyer Cirrus share price has jumped up today on this news, that speaks volumes, but then it's not done deal yet. ( hopefully ) | johnward1234
29/4/2014 08:03 | The deadlegs here will be shipped out pronto. This lot could pluck defeat from the jaws of victory -anyway this is the best thing they have ever done. | meijiman
29/4/2014 07:40 | What a surprise! Could there be some scope for a counter bid? They only have 7% of shares behind them and Odey are only committed to this bid until another arrives with a 10% + premium. Interesting! | jimrclark
29/4/2014 07:24 | Thank the lord as far as holders go. Shame the shower of the board will benefit. Wonder whar Samsung will make of it. | fabzzz
29/4/2014 07:17 | It´s a shame it´s gone, good company but probably best outcome for shareholders, those days above 250p seemed very unlikely to be achieved again. Still a shame though | via con
29/4/2014 07:03 | I rejoice in the smell of burning shorter's | sweenoid
29/4/2014 07:02 | What about those large trades the other day, should have realised something was going on. I sold out at 1.40 for a big loss. | amt
29/4/2014 06:52 | Well goodbye to WLF. The US obviously has a different perception of worth than that ascribed by market forces to WLF in the UK. | bobsidian
25/4/2014 18:42 | some large trades going through way over market price ; 500,000 @145 today...plus others today and earlier this week ...position build prior to results ? | pjw956
26/3/2014 11:48 | things not good, I heard no bonuses and pay freeze for staff. | fxscotland
18/3/2014 22:56 | Truly horrific performance and well reflected in shareprice. Anyone interested in a really good uk tech company should check iqe. Record sales and record profits every year. | mw16
18/3/2014 20:10 | interesting couple of days trades | pjw956
25/2/2014 16:49 | Added the chart from floatation. We did hit 50p in 2008/2009 | sat69
25/2/2014 12:29 | well done to the management -they have have reduced the company to rubble. How these clowns retain their jobs is a mystery........ | meijiman
17/2/2014 09:01 | Fin Wolfson Microelectronics - Time and cash slipping away (130.3p) WLF SELL TP: 110.0p. Market Cap: £152.1m Wolfson continually promises a bright future, but serial disappointments have left little goodwill and even less margin for further error. After five years of losses, quarterly revenue and margins remain on the slide, and both cash and time are running out. | dewtrader
05/2/2014 09:04 | Just looking at the numbers a little more closely - Revenue is expected to reduce in q1 2014 by between £6m and £14m from the q3 amount of £42m. Revenues could fall by as much as a THIRD!! So some very rough figurs - H1 2014 revenue could be £60m-£70m and H2 2014 revenue would need to be over £110m to match with 2013. I can see the share price falling again in 3 months time when Q1 results are announced - it's heading below £1. Can't see a recovery until next winter and only then if they have an outstanding 3rd quarter. They need to be doing something much more radical! aimho and I've sold up. | jimrclark
05/2/2014 08:58 | The company is run by utter fools. They should be sacked and replaced by by people who at least can have a go at making profits. They lack credibility and have no forecasting ability so everything takes them by surprise. Why this ever listed is beyond me. | meijiman
05/2/2014 08:37 | Called this one wrong! Results are at the lower end of expectations. Outlook isn't good - Q1 2014 looks very disappointing. Expected upturn not until the second half of the year - where have I heard that before! Despite having great products, they just can't make money and losses are getting greater. | jimrclark |
