14/8/2016 23:18 | Good for my hills shares but not so good for my 888 sharesNot sure what is for the bestA counter offer for 888 from hills would be nice | trentendboy
14/8/2016 10:07 | UK Aims to Balance Tax for Betting, Online Gaminghttp://www.bna | coxsmn
10/8/2016 16:41 | Not sure you understand how these terminals work viper. Do your research on this first before opening any short if I were you | trentendboy
10/8/2016 00:05 | Sell .There is going to be law suits issued against William hill that can prove their fixed odd betting terminals are not random if this can be proved as fact this is bust. | venomousviper
09/8/2016 16:53 | I read this in The Telegraph's iPhone app and thought you'd like to read it: | frankiethecabbie
09/8/2016 15:54 | Bid rejected | frankiethecabbie
09/8/2016 15:24 | Missed the second rise - should have acted quicker. Liquidity problem | trentendboy
09/8/2016 14:36 | what about a reverse takeover of 888 around £3.50? WH has bidded for them a couple of times before and this kind of scenario does happen... | tines
09/8/2016 13:52 | *above article states 364p | djbilywiz
09/8/2016 13:51 | I think I read the bid is worth 364p per share somewhere, so could be a rise here and if there is another bid then who knows!? | djbilywiz
09/8/2016 13:24 | Surprised it has not jumped higher on the formal bid. Could also flush out other buyers. Might be worth getting some quick | trentendboy
09/8/2016 12:53 | I read this in The Telegraph's iPhone app and thought you'd like to read it: | frankiethecabbie
27/7/2016 23:38 | don't think they will accept £3 a share anymore. | tines
27/7/2016 07:13 | Hills though leaderless should make a counter bid for 888 at three pounds a share.Eat or be eaten | trentendboy
26/7/2016 16:04 | Coxsmn, I agree that GVC would be a much bettor suitor, but this comes a bit too soon after the GVC Bwin deal for me. I'd like to see that fully integrated and then I think the share price would rise to a level where GVC could get it funded without excessive dilution to GVC holders. Not sure what Kenny would want with the shops mind you...hopefully unload them but I'm not sure could/would buy them, if government ever clamped down on the FOBT's many marginal sops would be out of business. Saw a report a while back that said if FOBT's were completely removed from shops then 80% of all betting shops would close. | brownie69
25/7/2016 22:09 | Another good read | frankiethecabbie

25/7/2016 21:24 | Perhaps this is William Hills way of putting themselves on the market for alternative merger proposals. In this business a trusted brand is very important. | nod
25/7/2016 21:04 | WMH and GVC combo would make much more sense. | coxsmn
25/7/2016 21:01 | 888 snubbed a bid from wmh last year. William Hill are unlikely to agree to become part of a merger with an 888 and Rank combo on the cheap. Wmh was interested in acquiring 888 but not the other way around. | coxsmn
25/7/2016 16:24 | Hills lost its way by being too arrogant. Lads learnt the hard way also.Online is tough.Hills needed to stump up for 888 2 years ago and pay a decent price. The irony | trentendboy |
