WHITBREAD APPOINTS LOUISE SMALLEY, GROUP HR DIRECTOR, TO BOARD

Whitbread PLC announced today it has appointed Louise Smalley, Group Human Resources Director, as an Executive Director. She will join the Board on 1(st) November 2012.

Louise Smalley has worked for Whitbread for 13 years and has been in her role as Group Human Resources Director since 2007.
