18/9/2018 13:01 | Hey netcurtains, are you going to next week’s shareholders meeting? And where’s the notice of the Chinese venture RNS in 14 days? I hold WEY btw. | jonbirdy
18/9/2018 08:50 | I noticed this group of girls schools (gdst) has taken over the advertising space at Waterloo Station first used by InterHigh. It does show you are InterHigh is 6 months ahead of the adverting pack!!! Well done Wey Education! | netcurtains
17/9/2018 22:09 | Only about 14 days now for Chinese news (RNS). Touchwood! | netcurtains
16/9/2018 20:29 | Wups!! I will try to keep my mouth shut. | 666james
16/9/2018 18:55 | 666james: the Guardian has become the worlds largest broadsheet media outlet and it famously makes zillions of typo errors. In the fast moving media savvy world a typo is neither here nor there. I'm not so worried by media department typos , I'd be more concerned if the media department could not generate 20% growth. Since the company is generating 20% growth it seems a bit annoying that you are slagging the media department off - clearly, they are doing a great job - namely organically growing the company. If good spelling meant anything serious I'd never be employed. | netcurtains
14/9/2018 20:55 | Net I can tell you trust the Wey Education team but I am not too sure, as I have said before. A trip northwards would do my share holdings a world of good. I am not confident this company has the ability to progress its model into the £1 plus area and so IF it does begin to move upwards I will be well pleased. I have noticed before that very simple mistakes have been made that a school boy would pick up on. They do not employ a proof reader to check very important documents. Documents that potential customers will be reading. This has been highlighted before and I found another mistake, that they have now put right, which was on full view to the client. I would say that mistakes like that cannot continue but short of reading all their selling documents we do not know if there are any more mistakes. Do you remember the leaflet that was on line with a glaring error in the written English and this leaflet was trying to promote English for foreign students....very poor indeed. What else is lurking ? I found this latest error about 6 weeks ago but did not want to rock the boat by reporting the error on ADVFN so I contacted the company direct and it was put right within one or two hours. So any move northward I would welcome and I think most other shareholders would too | 666james
14/9/2018 12:32 | Why 666james? I hope I'm wrong as these buyers will just be very short termers. We want more investors. I'm not interested in a 10p or 20p bounce. I want £1 to £10 a share. | netcurtains
14/9/2018 11:34 | I hope you are right net. | 666james
14/9/2018 11:00 | I guess the trickle of buys over past few days are people guessing that we will have some news within 15 days and more news within 20 days | netcurtains
14/9/2018 09:05 | one or two buyers slowly beginning to move in over the last couple of days. | netcurtains

07/9/2018 19:53 | Happy to add on decent pull backs, steady as she goes Sir! | ny boy
07/9/2018 19:47 | I think social media as well as sites like mumsnet are absolutely the best way for InterHigh to market themselves. | mcfly79
07/9/2018 19:43 | Great to hear net. Over the last few days the InterHigh Twitter account has retweeted some great positive tweets from students and a parent about the first week of term. A couple of tweets from Bella Ramsey, the young actress who plays Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones and is an InterHigh pupil alongside her acting. Really positive stuff for the school. | mcfly79
07/9/2018 19:06 | I was listening to some GENZ kids on BBC radio4. Born from about 1998 (max age about 20). Interesting point, the GENZ kids believed so much in Internet Education that they will not even bother going to university, they learn what they want over the internet. If this is a trend, WEY will soon not be able to keep up with the demand. A whole generation. | netcurtains
05/9/2018 11:03 | some starcube links . (you will need to click translate) and | netcurtains
03/9/2018 08:35 | Agreed, The Chinese need English pronunciation lessons as part of their school education. I've said before that I think WEY is one of the best place companies to offer this. There are much larger Chinese education companies and much larger online education companies but they can't offer what WEY offer. WEY offers the following: • Native English Teachers • Those teachers are qualified teachers from the British education system • WEY has a long history of running online school classes (it's the largest online school in the UK) For my perspective this makes WEY very attractive to Chinese schools wanting to improve English pronunciation. If you put yourselves in the shoes of a Chinese school, what would you look for in the company you choose for pronunciation lessons? I think WEY may be best placed of any UK company to offer this (and one of the best companies in the world given how highly regarded the British education system is in China). | mcfly79 |
