Essential, Tim is a seller of shares not a buyer due to his large holding.

The remainder of the B of D have f all from memory.

I think you have to watch the numbers not the insiders buying in my humble.

I would take my cue from the BOD, are they buying?...

It's a volume business operating with restrictions currently.

Tim 3, could not agree more.

I do think 'Spoons' will pick up market share, however the market will be reduced for quite some time.

I bought at the wrong time (in hindsight) just before COVID last year. I did not sell at the bottom (should have bought more at £5 however did not) and sold near my buy price recently at a small loss which I was happy to take.

Will I return? Yes if the price gets down to ten quid - chart says it looks like it might!

Lol stay at home and watch it or my mates popup pub .I'm going nowhere near one after my experience A landlord was warned he would be fined £1,000 if fans cheered, chanted or booed while watching England's Euro 2020 games at his bar, LancsLive reports.Leon Kelly was visited by council licensing officers from ahead of last weekend's match between England and Croatia.Mr Kelly, who owns Level One in Darwen, obtained an 18-month road closure in April to allow him to set up a large marquee at the front of his bar.The marquee, which can seat 96 people, also boasts two big screens so customers can watch the Euro 2020 games while enjoying a beer outside.

can we focus on the copd pandemic, difficulty breathing due to air pollution. Can we ban all petrol and diesel vehicles immediately to save lives, to save the planet, and to save the sun, and the moon ?

The rules can be ok but they have to use common sense .If a pub is almost empty and nobody leaving or entering ,then leaving by the nearest exit which is 3 metres away is surely more sensible than walking through to the other side of the pub passing the 4 people that was there also .A quiet word and smile and explain that next time could you use the other exit would be acceptable. Instead of running to block someone leaving lol.Quite incredible. You can't give or recieve Covid if there is nobody there lol.

Yes some people in the hospitality industry are certainly showing their true colours have witnessed incredible rudeness from staff when people are simply trying to understand how a places rules work as most are different. To be fair have also seen some pretty rude customers too!!

When they are running to block people at an empty doorway in an empty pub, its time to give up hospitality and do another job lol.The pubs are run by id1ots that don't want custom in the main .I saw more arguments in one day out that I have seen in 40 years .All about rules lol

EI

Fair points but profits were lower in 2017 than they were before the pandemic hit.

I guess it all boils down to whether things return to pre pandemic trade levels.

I note Tim was on about opening new pubs not so long ago,I think debt is manageable provided trade is strong.

A lot of question marks about whether the pandemic has changed pub trends in the country longer term.I think during the euro's people are happy to watch at home/in their garden, this could be because of restrictions or could be something more worrying for the pub trade, a change in habits. All of this assumes that we are towards the end of restrictions. If we get further lockdowns or restrictions then all bets are off!
