Tim, with JDW the share price was arguably cheap for a fleeting moment only.

In September 2017 the share price was under £10 a share, in normal trading conditions with
lower net debt.

Il be surprised if restrictions are lifted in 4 weeks .Cases for sure will have gone up and most likely hospitalisation unfortunately. Many still not fully vaccinated. Unless we are just leaving those that haven't been given a chance of vaccine to take their chances .If these over 50s that wont take vaccine get ill they shouldn't use the NHS .Just take lemsip. Its only the sniffles .

JDW share movement is a classic example of being greedy while others are fearful.Last year they dipped to under £5 and many people were saying they are in real trouble. But they were a quality company before and they will still be a quality company after the pandemic. And that's when you needed the balls to buy and those that did, not me I might add have already been rewarded well over doubling their money. Now at today's price there are many uncertainties going forward.Personally I still think they will do ok and in time could benefit from less competition but certainly short term there is much uncertainty and they are n longer on sale so to speak!

A couple of months age consensus was this summer would be a goldmine for
pub businesses, that now looks unlikely.

Is that yet reflected in the SP?.

We must lock everyone in their homes to build a 5 million waiting list and overwhelm the NHS!

Thanks Bodger! Your legacy as the PM that saved lives in the pandemic is not secure, I fear.
