Communist China Makes Britain a Financial Basket Case

UK economy's record plunge during Covid-19 lockdown less severe than expected

The UK economy tumbled into the largest recession since current records began earlier this year, after two successive quarters of falling GDP triggered by the coronavirus pandemic lockdown

The fact that the UK is giving foreign aid to a wealthy enemy is absurd

UK gives £71m in foreign aid to China in just one year: MPs demand inquiry as it emerges we hand over a fortune even though their economy is FIVE times bigger than ours

If they are going to do these rules they need to make them national and put them on the news outlets .My mates haven't even got a clue these rules exist. We are breaking them anyway its getting ridiculous.

Anybody thinking about having a quick pint in a Wetherspoon pub (or any other pub for that matter) should forget about it. Unless, of course, they have a smart phone, have already downloaded the 'in-house' app, or have registered with the pub by phone in advance. No bar service.

Quick pint, you can forget it!

Surely anyone faced with a fine has a decent argument in saying they was confused by them.

He has lost the plot there are so many different rules in different areas even he cant recall them and the 10 oclock ruling has been shown not only not to work but makes things worse.

Whats needed is simple clear rules. The more you complicate things the less likely people are to adhere to them.

Stop whinging this is happening all over Europe, countries that are a little further down the line have/are introducing similar restrictions and their populations are no happy either. In other countries the hospitals are starting to fill, ours will too, at which point you'll be moaning that we weren't quick enough or we should tighten up.

Britain continues to rebuild Communist China with tariff free imports...In the next budget, you will be punished with a Virus Tax With the usual hits on alcohol, fuel ect..

Essential and Gozzie2, yes I am talking about preconditions like diabetes.

The answer is 250 people.

More people died of drowning last year than this.

I am afraid the government will be found out when the public inquiry eventually takes place.

Finally, the deaths from the collateral damage - cancer not being diagnosed etc. will be far greater than from the 'Chinese Virus' as Trump calls it!

By age 60 would suspect many people will have (at least) one
pre existing medical condition that requires medication.

In any case it's hospital capacity concern that's driving policy.
We look to have ample current capacity, hopefully that continues.

Those underlying conditions could be a bit misleading thought because aren't they classed as high blood pressure diabetes etc.I actually don't know anyone that hasn't got problems of that sort .Maybe I know unhealthy people lol .

LBC had a scientist on this afternoon.

It appears 'Big Boris' and Co. did not consult SAGE (I thought they made accounting software?) on shutting the pubs and restaurants at 10.00 p.m.

So there is no science to it. No wonder some Conservative M.P.'s want more say.

Now here's one for the board - and no looking it up on Google.

How many people under 60 with a previous health condition have so far died in the U.K. of Covid 19?

The answer was given on Question Time recently although it was wrong (high).
