Wrong board thats for the oil company my dad invested in lol. He left me 200,000 shares that was worth 138 thousand when he bought them at 88p .Ten years the Falklands oil company rockhopper has kept it going taking half a million wages each and no oil ever brought up They are now 5p do not get involved in AIM investment. 95 percent lose money .What a waste of money .Fortunately he's no longer here to see where his hard-earned money went .

Thats not governments fault thats id1ots repeatedly breaking rules .Why even give them a second chance . BORIS WARNS FURTHER RESTRICTIONS WILL BE ENFORCED IF PEOPLE DON'T FOLLOW THE RULESDocuments have revealed a spate of problems at a Tameside pub which was shut down for 'repeatedly breaching coronavirus regulations' – including a DJ playing loud music and customers brawling. The Jolly Hatters pub in Denton was served with a Direction to Close Notice by Tameside council on Friday, September 18.The town hall said it was in response to the premises posing a 'serious and imminent threat to public health'.Now council reports reveal that the Town Lane venue has been a 'premises of concern' since reopening to the public on July 4.On that date the GMP licensing officer for Tameside and a council officer visited the premises, which was 'very busy with large groups of customers watching football', the report says."These customers were shouting and cheering and failing to adhere to social distancing requirements," the report adds.A complaint was received by a neighbour claiming that on July 11 alcohol was being served past the last orders of 12.30am until 4am, and that the designated premises supervisor (DPS) was regularly drunk while on duty, the report says. This report was later corroborated by CCTV from inside the pub, documents On August 14, licensing and police officers again visited the premises and found that a jukebox was playing music at an 'unacceptably loud level which made it difficult to have a conversation', the report says.A day later, a 'large brawl' involving between 15 and 20 people took place inside the pub and then spilled out onto the street, documents say.The report says the incident was not reported to police, but CCTV obtained by GMP showed that prior to the fight Covid-19 regulations had been breached.Officers saw from the footage that large groups were sat together, not socially distanced, and the DPS had been watching football and drinking with the large group, the report says .On September 11, a visit by a licensing officer and GMP sergeant at 9pm found a DJ playing loud music within the pub, documents reveal. The DPS was asked to turn the music down, and following this it is reported that the DPS, who was 'extremely intoxicated', became 'confrontational towards the police', the council report said."Warnings have been ignored," states the executive decision report.

Yes obviously I don't want hospitalisations and deaths to rise but I fear they will quite sharply soon .Thats when the first things to go will be the pubs although many have been very responsible and I think safe .Its these that haven't and the mass gatherings afterwords and transport home thats the problem .Just had a pub closed near me for drinking on mass until 4am and they had been warned before .What is wrong with these people .

tomorrows Covid numbers will be interesting, there's usually a lag on Mondays with recording figures.

hope we stay below 6000 new cases.

I live near a large hospital tameside that was the worst in the country for people going into with other conditions and then catching covid .The road i live on is not the major road leading to the hospital but I found staying up late that many ambulances was going up to hospital in the early hours .Why they took this route i dont know .In the past few hours four have gone past .People won't take it serious until the figures start rising again probably 2 to 3 weeks from now unfortunately.

i'd be happy if folk wore them in the supermarket, no enforcement, seems we are all immune up here in the north - yeah right, dropping like flies at the moment... i've been hibernating now for 8 days - beer fridge is stocked up, so all is well.

Watching these scenes on the news whats the point of distancing and mask wearing inside the pub .Simple fact there's no law enforcement and the people know it .

you need to have someone in the know Gozzie,

thankfully one of our sunday singers is or was head of infection control in Newcastle and she was keeping us updated on the spread in North Tyneside, newcastle and gateshead.

We went through about 4 weeks or no new cases in north tyneside, so that was our signal to play out and we did ...

however that's now come to and end, as cases spiral in the north east.

transported in from south tyneside, always said they were a durty bunch over the other side of the Tyne - :-) should have stopped the ferry across the river, keep the disease on the south side - ha ha -

More evidence this morning the 10 oclock closing is not working and the Telegraph reports that only 3% of infections in pubs before the new rules.

Its never made sense everyone piling out at the same time onto public transport and back to people's homes for parties .Some of this thinking is very odd .It seems to me that they are almost wanting the problems so they can have an excuse to close them.

The more I think about it the more I think this early closing is not working infact could actually be making things worse.

Fear we will have another shutdown.

Not been following the news over the weekend, so not upto speed on any new restrictions - we've got it bad up here in the north east. My mates partner has been called back to work, she retried in March, infection control at the RVI, The Nightingale hospital in Sunderland has been prepped to open. One of my son's Uni house mates has got Covid and is bed ridden, the whole house is shut down for 14 days, he starts day 1 of Y2 tomorrow - ffs, and my niece (16 y/o) was called to hospital today for a test, results tomorrow morning, but has the symptoms. The first wave I knew two people who caught it, i was in contact with both and I had to self isolate for 14 days on 15th March, 1 week prior to the country going into controlled measures. I know 14 people in 11 days who have caught the disease this time.....i'm hibernating again..
