18/4/2006 12:46 | Good point! Because I don't see Ian Hatton down to speak this year. I'm surprised but there you are. Updates on many other wind farms. I still think Eclipse's gas resources put it ahead of the pack of other wind farms. IMHO DYOR | bomfin
18/4/2006 12:20 | bomfin - you are a man ahead of his times....lol! | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 12:18 | Here's a link. Ian Hatton down to talk on 25th May. Update on Ormonde project. Correction!. That's last years conference. I'm pretty sure he's down to talk again this year though.(edit, apologies! I don't see him down to talk this year) IMHO DYOR | bomfin
18/4/2006 12:16 | I know that there's a renewables conference up in Aberdeen next month. Ian Hatton gave a big update there last year. If there's no news before then I expect news from that conference in May. I'm pretty sure he's down to talk there also. rgds bomfin | bomfin
18/4/2006 12:05 | bomfin - to me the Eclipse floatation in the 2nd qtr 06 is the real biggie....the real rocket under the share price.... | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 11:16 | bomfin - great post....thanks! | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 11:10 | schiff - some where in the 4p to 5p region....hence my 4p + | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 10:36 | quick calculations. Sey shares worth £9.1 million at present. Des shares worth £1.8 million at present. Cash + CDS loan worth £1.1 million at present. Shares and options outstanding 8.3 million. Options excercise would bring in another £800,000. Eclipse shares 244,000. Last issue price £7.50/share. = £1.83 million. So currenlty £14.63 million of value for 8.3 million shares fully diluted. = Value of £1.76/share. Potential upside intact from further Sey strength and Eclipse floatation. Downside risk over Des, Sey and Eclipse gets less with oil price strenght. IMHO DYOR rgds bomfin = | bomfin
18/4/2006 10:31 | BLT - so you agree my conclusion in 999! | schiff
18/4/2006 09:55 | As SEY move on up....remember that every 1p up in SEY should be worth some 4p or so to the share price of WTE* * WTE still own some 30M SEY shares | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 09:45 | Every 1p up in SEY should be worth some 4p or so to the share price of WTE!!!! | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 09:41 | Bought into these a couple of weeks ago (for the SEY connection). Shame about the wide spread though, otherwise they could be a nice short-term trade as SEY moves up. | schiff
18/4/2006 09:35 | Not any more! | bitterlemontart
18/4/2006 09:20 | SEY up nearly 8%. Westie....unmoved. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. :-) | cwa1
15/4/2006 12:54 | Masurengy - re your 996, let me have a go at this (though I would like someone to check my conclusion!). WTE shares currently in issue: 7,506,680 (after 12/05 consolidation). 30M SEY shares held by WTE, so each penny up in SEY = 3.996p on WTE's SP! | schiff
10/4/2006 08:36 | SEY up 1p already this morning. Couldnt even buy 500 WTE online with TDW this morning. Due a mark up. | papillon
09/4/2006 11:49 | BLT - do you think owning shares in WTE would give a priority to getting in to Eclipse-Energy or is it more likely to be an institutional placing? I found E-E's website very interesting, particularly the non-tech summary which is downloadable. The area is known to me and it would be great to go and have a look at turbines you have a share in! Or is that pathetic? | schiff
08/4/2006 12:05 | "P.S. - do not forget WTE....who own some 30 Million SEY shares and should rise by circa 4p/5p for every 1p rise in SEY...." Hi BLT - What is the equation for a WTE 4/5p rise on the back of each 1p rise for SEY ? | masurenguy
08/4/2006 08:25 | fingers xxd - good morning....one rule for one....whilst the rest us just have to accept what we're given....lol....actu P.S. - do not forget WTE....who own some 30 Million SEY shares and should rise by circa 4p/5p for every 1p rise in SEY.... This is not an alternative trade, but an additional one as you get the benefit of WTE's other investments such as DES and the soon to be floated [expected to be massive] Eclipse Energy.... "Westmount said its investments continue to perform well. In January, Westmount provided a 500,000 stg convertible loan to AIM-listed CDS Oil & Gas Group PLC to fund the latter's exploration programme in the Chaco Basin in North West Paraguay. Westmount's other investment include shares in Sterling Energy, Desire Petroleum PLC and the unquoted Eclipse Energy Co Ltd." | bitterlemontart
07/4/2006 19:18 | papillon, Any more on SEY and WTE may move to play catchup IMO. Maybe an opportunity here for anyone that missed the SEY rise today? | andy
07/4/2006 16:03 | SEY going well; still not impacting on WTE share price Makes them cheap. | papillon
06/4/2006 14:50 | If SEY makes 30p soon that could mean another 15-20p on WTE share price Some knowledgable posters are talking of SEY going even higher than 30p in the short term. We shall see. All good for WTE share price | papillon
06/4/2006 14:36 | SEY looking strong. | papillon
02/4/2006 12:40 | PLEASE NOTE :- WTE charts from fingers xxd....A CHARTISTS PRICE GUIDE FOR NON-CHARTISTS. (£1) And Andonis....CHARTS (CHAR) | bitterlemontart
02/4/2006 10:05 | bomfin - thanks for that....interesting! | bitterlemontart |
