10/5/2018 23:03 | 'signed' meaningless contracts? huh? | kreature
10/5/2018 22:41 | Maybe parties a while back concluded that they might get the initial phase of the contract off the ground Q1-2 befor any new Trump US stance, the subsequent phases would land later in the year and complicate contracts, suppliers, contractors etc, and hence they want the same supplier from start to finish, hence delays, who knows | dubian99
10/5/2018 21:02 | Needs investigating for sure imo CLNs need addressing in 5-6 weeks and "keep lights on money"? 4-6 weeks imo Company is a disgrace, whats the point of the nomad system! | youkme
10/5/2018 19:16 | If Trump said in his presidency mandate what his intentions were, then i presume WSG and the Iranians have had that as a backdrop and possibility for many months, Question is among others, could the client and WSG being fully aware have got the show on the road long ago and pre-empted any embargo cutoffs, Had 6 months plus i'd say | dubian99
10/5/2018 18:56 | I’m not sure I agree that the end is terrible Seems as though they won the deal... or is that not true? And RNS seems to say doesn’t think suppliers affected? | yajnas01
10/5/2018 18:55 | Does anyone else think this is overdone? Iran deal, RNS says not really exposed... | yajnas01
10/5/2018 18:42 | TW had a lot to say about Sir Tony B. | saucepan
10/5/2018 18:13 | I love the news! The contract has been signed. It is on hold, we are waiting for a starting date. It's in one of my favourite countries as well. Oh, and the new share price means I can add at a dream price too... Carry on WSG, find a good German supplier if you need to switch, and give the stink finger to the cretin that just got closer to his early demise. | balaura
10/5/2018 18:11 | wynter, I'm not seeing the uncrossing on my L2, what are you seeing? | nowenterprise
10/5/2018 18:10 | Hmmmmmm, methinks there's more to this than meets the eye. The un-crossing share price would seem to agree. Tomorrow's trading will be interesting. | wynterwilde
10/5/2018 18:03 | Well done Kreature | graham1ty
10/5/2018 17:56 | Unexpected kick in the goolies, to be sure. But it's not over yet, and this still seems to have a real chance of turning around. The RNS says the Contract is NOW SIGNED. So it's in Iran, which no one saw coming, but the airports there are busier than Oman anyway. And U.S. pulling out does not automatically spell the end of the contract, most likely just a delay considering how the rest of the world is still on board. SP will probably get really volatile tomorrow, no way of estimating where it will settle before further news. Now to find some soothing ointment for my nether regions... GLA. | nowenterprise
10/5/2018 17:44 | Well I read the rns and my first thought was one of cynicism, how 'fortunate' that it's in a country where Trump has given them a get out reason, I've always wanted to believe them but after the Mandela excuse on EA, and many other 'unfortunate' excuses through the years I struggle to believe a word they say. And wtf in English is "an exchange of board approval letters" ? Well done if your short is still open Kreature | threeputt
10/5/2018 17:41 | Oh so predictable, couldn't trust a word they say.......yet another perfect excuse for failure... The list is endless..... | hippo
10/5/2018 17:17 | I have posted my own reaction on the other thread, but want to acknowledge here that I feel genuinely sorry for those who will be incurring losses they cannot afford. | saucepan
10/5/2018 17:10 | What a complete shower. Absolutely could not make it up. Feel sorry for any mugs suckered in by the constant “it is already signed.....know it is Muscat....imminent “ This could be the end for WSG. All credibility gone. Few places to go for funding. Down below 10p tomorrow. And how STUPID announcing during trading hours. Ten minutes of disorderly market Goodbye WSG | graham1ty
10/5/2018 17:05 | Thought some corrupt posters on LSE said 100% muscat? Feel sorry for everyone | youkme
10/5/2018 16:59 | Sorry, SW, and for other "believers". I have long taken this stock off my wish list, but cannot resist following the story, as it has been something of a soap opera. The final red flag for me was reading about the "alleged" chequered lives of the likes of Sutcliffe and Baldry (see, for example, the latter's wikipedia coverage). I would not trust them to see either of my grannies across the road, and they are both long dead. | saucepan
10/5/2018 16:57 | Stay focused, they still have a mou in North Korea | dubian99
10/5/2018 16:50 | I've had this on my monitor for years, just when you think it's safe to dip a toe, bang.. I'm really thinking of taking it off my monitor now, will just watch tern and bloc more closely.. | still waiting |
