Has everyone lost interest ? Nothing for a week. And as they keep saying on LSE, the longer we wait for the ME contract, the more likely it is to happen.

We have waited 20 years for Tim Henman to win Wimbledon, and he hasn’t yet so this MUST be his year

Perhaps "imminent" in the sense that Peter Fowler uses the word?

Internal process (Today 15:30)

We know it is the Middle East. We know that everything has been agreed. We have been told how drawn out and bureaucratic the whole process is. Multiple agencies, departments, internal and external. We await one final internal process. Most evidence points to Oman.

Well today in Oman The Sultan is addressing/meeting with his council of ministers, state and shuria councils. All the layers of government. He addresses them once a year. He is still very much in charge. Perhaps today is the beginning of the end of this internal process? Check out this twitter thread,

and this helps explain how things work out there

one of the tweets

'His Highness Mr. Fahad bin Mahmoud al-Saeed: The Council of Ministers is continuously examining the matters raised by the Council of Oman and is following first and foremost the implementation of projects and the fulfilment of requirements'

a) errr.... £0
b) and errr.... £0

you forgot ME, I believe thats also a errr..... £0

I wish I knew how much the updront payment received was for their recent tech contract, as potentially the outlay wsg nned to pay themselves may exceed this and therefore answer the 'p' question they want to hear on the other side. I wouldnt put it past them to have negotiated a poor staged payment criteria

I cannot believe all the negativity on this Board. It has only been six years since the EA MOU. Just have a little patience. The ME LOI is only two years ago, and you cannot expect even a world class company to convert a contract in less than two years. Some shareholders are so short term. It is perfectly normal to have to wait for ever.

Think on the plus side. If we all die before there is any news, at least the shares will be Inheritance Tax free.

I am sure it will be next week

Nop. But shows how good at conversion this lot are. EA is still alive though so good news lol
Please stick around though if this doesnt happen within the next few weeks/months years unlike every other.
This BB needs bulls with the knowledge you bring

Yes I know, but thankfully the ME contract isn't dependent upon the EA contract being signed. The two events are totally independent of each other.

Of course a placing to clear the CLNs is possible. Aliens landing from outer space next week is possible. But just because it is possible doesn’t mean it is likely to happen.

If they undertook a placing to clear the CLNs, the Company would then be debt free. How many companies can you name that finance themselves in that fashion? Not many I suspect. The reality is in addition to rolling over the CLNs, there is also the option of borrowing from other sources without conversion rights, perhaps just on a short term basis until the ME contract is signed and longer term debt funding is introduced.

If a placing to clear the CLNs were planned I suspect they would already have done so when the price spiked after the December announcement. The fact that they didn’t strongly suggests to me that they have alternative plans up their sleeves.

If I were a CLN holder, I’d be more worried about the CLNs maturing before the ME contract is signed. I don’t think I would be insisting on repayment with the potential gains to be made once that is finalised.

Yes, all good points.
Equally though surely,
Placing is possible, CLN holders could insist on repayment.
Can't rule out Darwin either imo.
Renegotiate the CLNs is an interesting one and as you say if the bond holders have some info available to them then the new price will be all telling imo.
40p you say graham says 25p; price will tell us all we need to know in that case
And last but not least if the share price is above 35p then its easy.
