Thanks guys, appreciate your time. Maya - nice chart, but Chinese angle is very offputting, I've lost money on every China related share I've bought. Sula - looks a bit overbought but clearly has potential. Vast - may be a trade but long term dog looking at the chart. Hmi - I'm already in there and making a few hundred. Pxog - didn't have the funds at 1.4 and feel I've missed the boat now. HUR - lost loads last year on it and missed the recent rise back up, not a lucky one for me. TLOU - on watchlist Amer - stagnant priceMy current holdings, if interested are: EXI/TAP/WSG/AAZ and HMI.

basem1 re post 12100:

Re my comment about other opportunities. I was referring to situations where news is likely imminent or fairly imminent that could markedly change the share price. e.g. a WSG scenario.

I think these are more reliable opportunities in that WSG seems to be a serial disappointer on the news front, whereas in these cases news good or bad is more likely to happen. They happen to be in the resource sector.

Expecting drilling to be confirmed in November: COPL, PXOG, HUR; then later excitement re drilling outcomes.

HMI: commencement of mining announcement expected.

AMER and TOUL also likely to be news driven towards the end of the year.

They may be worth looking at. No advice intended. I currently hold all. I am not normally a commodities/mining investor, but the sector looks to me like it has ended its bearish cycle and a bull market is returning - so an opportunity to invest with a rising tide.

Basem check out Vast. Once Bracknor have finished with their loan note conversion it's blast off. Also if Bhaita Plai licence appears which could at any time. Basically a good trading stock short term.

Brave move saucepan. I have the same worries and questions as you do. However I have decided to stay invested. Risk reward is just to big for me to be out. (especially over the weekend! ;-)). All the best.....

FWIW: I am out today, booking about 20% profit on my entry point. I have lost patience with the Company, and won't be back unless or until there is a specific positive catalyst. Part of the reason is that I think there are currently better risk/reward opportunities to chase.

However, with regard to WSG specifically: for one thing, I cannot understand why there has been no progress on the Ferry. "Sea trials", after repair, were a long time ago now. I have a nagging feeling that there is a major issue holding things back.

The promised "imminent" contracts? Well East Africa was one of those . . . and we are still waiting. After the last update, I thought it was reasonable to see what October would bring. It is the 31st today, and zilch.

Or perhaps not,,sells about 122,500....buys 46k approx.
but the chart still looks fine to me,I don't like excessive straight line rises,
as they collapse far too quickly for all, and my liking,
what is it they say ,slowly slowly catch a monkey....imho
