WSX & HALO are on the verge of taking a stake in Nidos SC54A field, see below.

On completion, HALO will hold a 15% interest in offshore Service Contract SC54A in the Philippines, which contains a number of existing oil discoveries in moderate water depths, as well as further exploration potential. In the opinion of the Directors, it would be possible to bring one or more of these discoveries into production in the near-term. Partners in SC54A are NIDO Petroleum (Operator, 42.4%), Yilgam Petroleum Philippines Pty Ltd (30.1%) and TG World (BV) Corp. (12.5%). The Heads of Agreement calls for HALO to also hold US$1 million of cash, sufficient to fund its current contractual drilling obligation on SC54A. The Directors believe there may be potential to increase HALO's interest in SC54A.

Request for Voluntary Suspension from Quotation
Nido Petroleum Limited ("Nido" or "the Company") requests a voluntary suspension from
quotation of the Company's securities (ASX Code: NDO) until market open on 5 August
2014.
For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.2, Nido provides the following information:
 The voluntary suspension is necessary as Nido requires further time to complete a
corporate transaction; and
 Nido expects that the voluntary suspension shall remain in place until the opening of
trading on 5 August 2014, unless before that time Nido makes an announcement
concerning the corporate transaction and requests that the voluntary suspension be
lifted.
Nido is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted.

Anyone notice this today?

BCP ENERGY INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD TO ACQUIRE 19.66% INTEREST IN NIDO.

Could be the reason its taking a few more weeks digger.

diva. no free fall either if the deals not done i think they have cost in the 222m shares that will be issued to HALO, could be a win win situation.

When the licenses are OUT and GRANTED then the deal will be made notified....
If that happen the price will be definitely higher. If the licenses are not granted then no deal and free fall to hell.

This is why Mr Cochran has been brought on board so to say' or you could put it he's found a company that he could make a few quid has before.
He's run bigger oiler's than WSX GBP ect all put together.
News will come when he wants it to come.

From Tulows report today FG is still an asset, could this eventually be Cochrans goal, it would make it a 20 bagger from today's so to the heights of two year since.
The French Guiana drilling programme was completed in 2013 and Tullow is currently incorporating the results from the 2013 wells into our geological model so we can better understand the considerable remaining prospectivity and determine the future licence work programme.

I remind people that Mr Yoes lot got 2/3rds of the vote. The Insto's will have been informed of more details of the desk to bring them on board. News his week for me.

As far as we know Cochran still owns less of WSX than Milroy who last reported holding 34m shares.

If the HALO transaction does not go through Cochran is gone. So he's certainly not running the show just yet.

I've less confidence in that deal going through than you.
