I think getting into the playoffs is a mimimum expectation - but whether this brings any noticeable financial rewaed is an open question. Don't get me wrong I think AB is a football genius and I hold a small number of shares, but I never expect to make a return on them. I think in 115 years or so as a football club we have only made a profit a dozen times or something, and I don't see that changing.

3pts this evening against the saints puts us right in the hunt for 2nd.

there is a match - Leeds Vs Shef Utd - if its a draw, maybe the pivot to watford promoted. Dont know if there is much downside risk either if yjey dont get promotion

"IF" WFC do make the play offs surely the share price has to react...

I'm not too thrilled at the thought of having Ashcroft with a 40%+ stake either. Thing is I guess you don't really buy these in the hope to make money, it is more of a statement.

regarding the rights issue if you do not buy your share in the club is diluted by over 70 per cent; if you pay you acquire back 60 of the 70 you lost
a slightly richer club but this issue will always be remembered as heads i win tails you lose
