Oh dear,
I am a very despondant Ferrisc.

3 lovely points! Not a brilliant display but I saw enough of the 'new wave' potential to believe GV in his 'time to gel' theory. Unfortunately I saw a bit of the 'old wave' in the last 20 minutes to know that some traditions have remained! :-)

I am also hoping that my small holding will get me some interesting reports once a year and also access to the shareholders meeting - could be a good way to meet Gianluca and the others - it is an ivestment for supporters not really to make money - may make a few quid if we go up though.

Interesting to see in the telegraph that we spent the least % of income on players salaries and that we were one of the most profitable clubs last year - think that has since changed though.

I didn't buy my WFC shares as an investment, just as a gesture of loyalty to my club. I don't expect to make any money on them but hopefully the framed certificate will look nice.

The fact is Sensible, without a winning team you won't make any money! All these factors contribute to what happens on the pitch. It just happens that we care more about it than usual.

You lot make me LOL. Never get sentimental about these shares. Remember you are here to make money not lose it.

I'm off to buy a mink coat.

Who cares about the press? It's us the fans (and new shareholders) that matter, as long as we give him a chance then s-d everyone else. I'm hoping for 3 points next weekend and then a confidence boost should ensue plus the fact that the team will have another week together and another match under their belts.

I miss Mooney though :-(

I think your right, it is not an easy task Vialli has undertaken, most of our players have only played 2-3 games together!! Lets hope we can pick up some points soon to give morale a boost. I was half expecting the Man City result as they are most probably the best team in the first division, it is probably best that game is out of the way and we can concentrate on the lesser sides. I think Vialli is the right man for the job and am pleased with what he is setting out to do. Lets hope the press do not give him a hard time so early on. Here's to a bright and exciting future at Vicarage Road.

Defence looked much better than last season, midfield hmmmm, attack oops, same as friendly at QPR - no penetration. What's the point of putting the ball onto Tommy Smiths head?

I didn't think we'd get anything at Maine Road so don't feel too disappointed with yesterdays result. Give it two months and hopefully we'll have gelled into something pretty special. Think of Blackburn last season, started slow, went up.

a fellow golden boy !!

With a little luck we wil be pushing for automatic promotion spot this season.
Anything less than a play-off place will no doubt be deemed as failure.

Tough division to get out of as always - my top teams this year will be Man C, Coventry and Wimbledon and of course us!!
