16/10/2012 13:23 | Worth reminding what they said on 17th september Operations The implementation of MRI,s Coal Briquetting project is progressing well and first production is anticipated by February 2013. The pilot briquetting plant will be moved to site in the next few weeks in order to commence production of sample batches for final off-take evaluation and specification. This information is required under the existing off-take agreement to enable potential consumers to evaluate the product. By implementing the pilot plant ahead of the main production facility, MRI will be in a position to assess market requirements and make final adjustments to the process before entering into full production. | mine cap

16/10/2012 09:30 | Nemo i cant say for certain but i have seen a number of bits and pieces that suggest this could be the case.In South africa there are a number of well established business familys that own vast commercial empires and large tracts of land that seem very well connected in the global business world - ie they have fingers in lots of pies.Im sure if someone done some extensive digging they could find the exact relationships involved here. Bruce Rowan is a very sharp cookie from what i see. | mine cap
16/10/2012 09:13 | mine cap if that is true it could be very handy for worldwide briquette sales to have a major shipping magnate onboard :-> | enshare
16/10/2012 09:02 | moreforus there are some details around on this and think someone posted the info last week either on here or an another forum. All i remember is the business family that own the briquette plant and i think also a transportation & shipping company have been connected with bruce rowan over many years. If i come across the exact details i will paste it up.Thought it was of interest though. | mine cap
