If they get shares it means that MRI could not convince investors to invest. So what makes you think that WET can sell them.

Check the last 10 days trading volume in MRI stock.

Cash or shares, it's virtually a no lose situation for WET as far as I can see. If they get shares then they can sell them in the open market. Even if they got less than 0.19 for them then TAM have to pay the difference.

Good luck to all who are purchasing today. However my finger won't be touching the buy button until clarity regarding the loan deal is released.

The loan is in place due to withdrawal of an investor during the sale of WET to MRI, meaning MRI could not complete the cash part of the deal.

If MRI find an investor and finally pay the cash part of the deal, then I will purchase more stock. If however they do not find an investor and convert the loan to shares in MRI, then I will view this negatively on the basis that the business case is clearly not attractive to investors.

The fact that we are a day away from the deadline suggests the latter.
