19/10/2018 12:20 | Just come up from yesterday and the buys before the trades were 4.96 and 97 whereas the sales before were 4.92 and we moved up afterwards so buys. Nearly 700,000 spent. | tickboo
19/10/2018 12:15 | If yesterday at the time they look like buys and with someone spending nearly £400,000 today is there accumulation going on and a holdings RNS next week maybe? That'd be positive and welcome. | tickboo
19/10/2018 12:13 | Can anyone see when the 60,000 and 74,037 trades were put through, yesterday or before? | tickboo
18/10/2018 17:03 | Tickboo Correction three certaincies, last one a nurse. | jackdaw4243
18/10/2018 09:10 | Good to see a £100,000/20,000 buy which shows confidence, be nice to have a few more! | tickboo
17/10/2018 08:17 | Clearly they have a lot in the pipeline for clients wanting to move data from one cloud to another which can be done without issues (as stated by DR re a client moving from AWS to Azure) so I imagine a decent number will be closed down before year end. Well they need to be! They'll also be recurring revenues once in the cloud assuming they want live data. No-one else can offer what wand does and great to see them at the forefront as large players don't wanna be reliant on one supplier. | tickboo
17/10/2018 08:01 | Agreed Tickboo - and maybe the rally in US Tech overnight might settle nerves over here...there is patently a persistent seller (Blackrock adding to their short?) c £5 area as we get smashed everytime we rally there...but like you, I remain deeply optimistic about Wand's prospects over the next few years....we might just have to be patient! | redrag1
17/10/2018 07:44 | A good RNS whatever anyone thinks! They moved data from AWS to Azure over night and was executed well so this can be a decent platform for growth, as stated. We already have a pipeline of customers that have clear requirements to seamlessly move data between different cloud providers. The LiveData platform for Multicloud has the potential to supercharge the growth and success of modern day, data-based businesses. Across all sectors, from healthcare and transport, to retail and finance - enhancing data processing can be transformative. By combining the forces of different storage infrastructures and expanding geographic reach, WANdisco is setting new parameters for Multicloud operations that will have an impact across industries." | tickboo
16/10/2018 19:45 | Hope so KtoKP, although my timing of buys has been poor here for a good while I do believe their new approach with reap benefits and the market cap will be more than justified. Hoping the run around starts soon! | tickboo
16/10/2018 18:14 | Tickboo Things will improve from here....(imo) The liquidity issue across small cap is writ large .. have been talking directly with a few old contacts ... there is a bit of fear and loathing building and some redemption money is pressuring .. small caps always get hit hard and no one rushes into these names as liquidity premiums go up.. Bearishness across the market is generally speaking high ( recent broker surveys ) suggest the world is making the “top of the cycle call” puts look bid, yields rising etc, trade tensions blah blah ... I think the fundamentals on Wand get a lot better and we will see Alpha from here or here abouts.. at the moment market “beta” is keeping a lid on it ..wish you well .. | knighttokingprawn
16/10/2018 15:17 | I obviously hope you're wrong losses. Hopefully Alibaba news released in the coming days/weeks as well as some other decent wins to stop the fall. 15% down on last raise so hopefully the IR team and DR up the ante and we get some more interest from IIs et al. | tickboo
16/10/2018 15:07 | Luckily held back not buying any from the drop from 1100+ | losses
16/10/2018 15:07 | Been feeling for ages it's going to 400 or less | losses
16/10/2018 14:33 | I stopped out at b/e earlier too. | bamboo2
16/10/2018 14:20 | I dont think we can ignore the broader market conditions here. Liquidity is drying up , and small caps globally not doing well... I suspect redemptions broadly draining the swamp in small cap... fund managers are not looking at individual stocks here.. they are fretting about the increasing volatility in the portfolio.. and the threat of a us roll over.... bearsh sentiment building broadly which is never good for “show me “ stocks ... | knighttokingprawn
16/10/2018 14:14 | As the old saying goes the only guarantees in life are taxes and death but I'd add another - wand's share price will drop following any share purchase from yours truly. Disappointing to buy and a few hours later you could've saved a few quid but that's my impetuousness and poor timing. DR has to deliver on sales and the CFO keep a lid on costs which they say they expect to do re FY expectations. I hope we get some news on Alibaba wins soon as well as the big ticket IBM deals although they tend to be announced early Jan. | tickboo
16/10/2018 13:44 | tickboo I admire your conviction and hope you are right. I was stopped out again at 580. just cant seem to call the bottom here. | nimbo1
16/10/2018 09:51 | That’s a better signal .. open market I think I am right in saying he hasn’t bought inbthe open market .. ( taken stock through options historically) | knighttokingprawn
16/10/2018 09:30 | Tickboo The stock is closely held The volumes are low and not particularly indicative of interest. The days of investors getting ahead of the news for Wand are over. The summer saw the effects of assymetry if information and poor communication from the company and investors have got themselves stranded at £8-£12.. and they are not going back and probably trying to decide if they should get out .. stock will only work on actually news flow .. I doubt any meaningful move ahead of that and certainly no serious volume... As for the government contract ..? There really isn’t much eveidence ( yet) that any of the big cloud players are deploying wand at scale .. that’s not a bad thing and I expect that to come through .. but given what we have seen it’s a massive leap of faith to assume that WAND are in the middle of the larger procurement project in cloud the market has yet to see.. Great if it happens ( truly transformative ) but given what we have seen to date it wouldn’t be rational to be in the stock for THAT announcement. I know you are here for the long term opportunity... I would settle now for some cadence on news flow, clarity on the MSft Opportunity and perhaps even a formal capital markets day .. so that wand can reveal all the good stuff that’s going on under the hood... very long .. but not adding too much here as I remain to be convinced that they can get the momentum required to truly justify the valuation implicit at £15 ( my target ) .. I think they can , but was expecting better by now ...I suspect other more informed II are also scratching their heads ... | knighttokingprawn
15/10/2018 16:59 | Another poor day. Surprising with the US gov contract bids having to be submitted by the end of this week. I imagine it'll take a while to go through the bids given the complexity and importance. That said it's surely going to be involving wand even if AWS win it due to Snowball and getting the data to the cloud. I'll hang fire and see if it continues to drop before adding. | tickboo
15/10/2018 11:37 | Not sure why the RNS spooked you so much mate but each to their own. Hopefully we've closed more deals and we land some chunky IBM deals in Q4 as we've done in the past. An announcement before YE on Us gov deal (assuming fusion is part of it) would be massive and surely the US gov will wanna make a decision before year end. | tickboo
14/10/2018 21:01 | tickboo Holding last week in , but not now as I said RNS spooked me, still waiting for the train to leave the station. Monday morning if a gap up I will be back in. | jackdaw4243
14/10/2018 14:48 | DR sold down in the placing last October to ensure U.K. holdings above 50pct ( I think that was condition of the placing).. to my memory he has not bought before in the open market .. so his purchase of 10k is significant .. whatever we my think the correct amount should be .. it’s an attempt to signal. | knighttokingprawn |
