14/6/2019 12:45 | Brexit could have an impact here both good and bad. They will gain on sterling depreciation for their exports but a hard BREXIT and potential recession will only decrease sales in the UK. So which will have the worst effect? On balance I think a recession and therefore the company should only be a rating on 10 or less. Good luck whichever you decide to do. | debsdowner

18/4/2019 08:41 | The successful parts of the business at the moment are Licensing though still very small and believe it or not in Britain of all places ....Manufacturing, which despite the reduction in production for in house brands found other buyers and actually increased sales. New boss is from marketing/retail side I realise but maybe manufacturing is where they should be hunting for money ? | gfrae
18/4/2019 07:52 | Turnaround? The possibility of a recession on the horizon and with assets overvalued this company is at serious risk. As for the share price being lower at one time, I was invested in this company a long while ago so have a good handle on it. The building trade changed over the years, property sales are stagnant and not going anywhere short term and this affects the company. Too early to buy imo. | debsdowner
17/4/2019 17:43 | Even with cut the yield rewards whilst waiting. Good turnaround story in the making. | zoolook
17/4/2019 14:04 | Not a single share bought by the BOD post update?. It's possible to read too much in to BOD transactions, however might be worth noting. If the new CEO succeeds at growing revenue and profitability in a rapidly changing retail environment, there is clear longer term value. Would expect an increasing focus on licensing income. WGB is an interesting company and one to at least keep on a watchlist. Given the already huge % fall from 2017 highs. It's unsurprising that some are buying. That looks brave to me, but sometimes brave pays off. | essentialinvestor |
