23/11/2004 09:47 | Just to clarify the situation. The price has been all over th eplace and I must take some of the blame for that. We have been exiting our position in VP over the past month. Lets just say that it was bloody hard, probably the hardest position to exit that we have ever had. Prices ranging from 166 to 154 for the last chunk. Now that we are out the market shoudl be a bit more normal. Godd luck for the 2nd. | swalker
18/11/2004 12:07 | It all depends on Hirestation, the growth of the last few years has come without a profit contribution from HS which represents approx 50% of turnover. Fix that and it could be a good early December. Good Luck GS | green sand
17/11/2004 23:47 | 9 days and no price change ? A while yet to the interims on the 2nd Dec ...... any thoughts ? | cobweb
01/11/2004 00:21 | Well I'm not aware of why the price dropped, and I've jumped out of stocks before simply because of the price drop, and was soon proven to have made the wrong decision. I agree with DJ, buying opportunity. GB. | greatbear
31/10/2004 19:47 | Oh good, buying opportunity approaching then. :-) | diogenesj
31/10/2004 19:25 | i sold a little while back but may get in again.THE PRICE IS GETTING NEAR ROBBIE BURNS STOP LOSS! | gswredland
26/10/2004 14:28 | The market in VP is seriously screwy at the moment. The 7000 at 156 was electronic. As soon as that went the MMs all dropped. Someone is playing games. | swalker
26/10/2004 13:58 | gswredland - They report on Thursday 2nd December. Read www.frequenttrader/i Good luck. | susier

26/10/2004 13:37 | noticed a huge drop in last half hour..when do these report anyone? Thanks | gswredland
13/10/2004 15:57 | If you take this years chart and overlay it on last year they are virtually the same, seems to be seasonal? Possible tree shake at the least opportunity. Reckon I will stick about for the next report. Good Luck GS | green sand
13/10/2004 14:57 | you could be right SWalker | ptgint
13/10/2004 14:55 | With only 25k sold today what news is hiding in the wings ? | ptgint
13/10/2004 14:55 | At the risk ofsounding daft its the market screwing around. There have been some big deals reported twice. The 30k on 11/10 was reported again at 10:06 on 12/10 and the 16k on 12/10 was reported again today at 10:05. The impression it gives is of twice as many sales as were carried out. The question is why is the MM concerned doing it? Probably to shake out some stock. | swalker
13/10/2004 14:36 | BLIMEY WHY THE HUGE FALL??? | gswredland
04/10/2004 23:25 | Well spotted WCB - I just skimmed it, thanks. | cobweb
04/10/2004 22:48 | Hi cobweb The RNS says that the disposal relates to the maturity of some SAYE options. The Group operates a SAYE option scheme. Options are granted to all eligible employees at up to 20% less than the market price just prior to invitation. 189 employees participate in these schemes. Naturally some will want (have?) to lock in a bit of profit on maturity. Nothing to worry about IMO. | westcountryboy
04/10/2004 22:02 | Strange sell today by the staff pension fund - .5% of holding (still 5%+ held) -especially after the positive trading statement ? Any theories ? | cobweb
01/10/2004 00:07 | Well done to all concerned, December results hould be good. Another day of buys, some good press perhaps tomorrow and further rises. | cobweb
29/9/2004 22:39 | Good trading day, all buys ... with the price ticking up nicely. This plus the Finance Director buying must be positive. Still no news on any trading announcement though - not sure if it will happen. | cobweb
23/9/2004 12:38 | The FD has just bought another 3740 @ £1.55. Not a lot, but it kind of makes me think that if there is to be an end of Sept trading statement, it is more likely to be good than bad? Good Luck GS | green sand
18/9/2004 18:09 | anyone exact date of trading statemnet? | gswredland |
