26/2/2018 11:31 | I mean not that I mind. If it drops below that, I will just buy more! | galles
26/2/2018 11:15 | It is simple liquidity risk in action. I think everyone that doesn't realise, needs to realise, that there is no way to make a quick exit here without moving the price, just as you likely found out there is no way of buying in without moving the price. With the spread even at this price one would barely be making a turn having sold at the top and buying back now. That is the nature of this share. One can either live with the risk or avoid, there is no way of wishing it away. The cheap share price is the quid pro quo for the liquidity risk; the market doesn't give something for nothing. | hpcg
26/2/2018 10:52 | I wonder if it was the "new" money from investors following the Stockopedia tip who have got bored through lack of news and moved on? As Rivaldo has pointed out, this is one for the patient investor. | melf
26/2/2018 09:36 | Nearly down to the share buyback price. Nothing has changed but yet there are sellers round, strange price movement in recent weeks | galles
23/2/2018 15:14 | MCAP £31m. Probable cash of c£20m plus F/hold valued at £2.5m........I think we're in bargain territory here! | melf
20/2/2018 13:52 | I disagee. If the Directors wish to offload their stock in the buyback. It would be prudent to update the minority on their investments. | russman
19/2/2018 15:26 | Bought back in today 900p having taken profits last summer. The recent pull back provided a window for me to get back in with updates not too far away. | martinthebrave
19/2/2018 13:45 | Russman, you are evidently not a long-term holder here! As the thread header says, this stock is primarily for patient investors. You get interims and finals, plus the occasional trading update. That's it. VLE are about to enter the most exciting period of news in the year - with possibly a trading update and results in the next 3 months. Most VLE shareholders will barely be able to contain themselves at this barrage of news :o)) | rivaldo
19/2/2018 13:14 | There has not been any news for a long time. | russman
19/2/2018 10:43 | Good to see a bounce today after a surprising fall last week. Hopefully there'll be a trading update in March again this year. I suspect the share price will have recovered nicely to 1000p or more before then. | rivaldo
12/2/2018 20:16 | spread looks horrible and as saidabove illiquid - ?? Just profit taking after the Stockopedia tip - Can anyone advise what was the share price before the tip ? [memeo self share price 875/900 at time of posting] | pugugly
12/2/2018 14:50 | VLE certainly seems to be more volatile since the Stockopedia tip. I guess it's not as under the radar as it once was. | melf
07/2/2018 12:20 | .....it was never going to take long Riv with this quality and value :-) | melf
07/2/2018 10:41 | ....and so the bounce begins... | rivaldo
05/2/2018 11:20 | Good luck. May be wise short-term, but stock is usually hard to find when wishing to rebuild a position in any size :o)) | rivaldo
05/2/2018 10:32 | my profit protection stop loss has kicked in so i'm out for now had an amazing run with volvere | spob
29/1/2018 08:26 | A note on the Lloyds / iWeb debacle: When I try to buy MPO on these platforms I have to tick a box confirming that I have read the KID. When I try to buy VLE (now possible again) I do not. This seems to confirm that Lloyds have realised and belatedly corrected their mistake, and not that VLE have produced a KID to keep Lloyds happy. So Lloyds wrongly prevented its clients from buying VLE before and during much of the recent surge in price. I wonder why I haven't received an apology. | zangdook
28/1/2018 00:28 | Great to see a £10,000 buy at the full 1050p offer just before Friday's close. | rivaldo
26/1/2018 17:16 | Great week here. £10, backtest, £10+, lovely! | greenroom78
26/1/2018 10:44 | As many of you I have been long term holder of Volvere and done very well. Have recently purchased Quarto on two occasions. Firstly as a turn around situation and secondly as the founder of the company who was kicked out in 2013 has built up a stake ,just announced two days ago of over 17 Per cent, furthermore a far eastern investor increased his holding in November from 11 - 20 per cent. Believe it is a vey interesting situation. Please look at the company. Just a thought may be worth using Volvere site to discuss other shares as I would consider us all to be on most occasions astute investors | robin_lemer
25/1/2018 15:33 | Over £100Ks worth of shares traded today. A rarity for VLE. | melf
24/1/2018 23:06 | Great to see the first ever buy at 1000p (and at 1005.1p at the close) :o)) Simso, you could well be right about the positive effect of being in the Stockopedia NAPS portfolio. However, I have a feeling the 2017 results will speak for themselves when they're released. | rivaldo
24/1/2018 21:21 | Slowly being re rated, still looks cheap on all metrics | modform
24/1/2018 19:00 | Love this share - one of few blues for me today. Great to see it break above £10 :) | xajorkith |
