07/6/2013 06:50 | Well I was hoping for a news release about progress ahead of AGM today. Very surprised as according to the rules no price affecting news should come from the AGM, but you cannot tell me questions will not be asked about progress, and the reply has to be price affecting one way or the other! Wish I had the time off to attend. | tradermel
03/6/2013 11:57 | Apologies, I thought you was having a laugh, glad wata understood you. Bit bored also wata, still holding but only just. | tradermel
01/6/2013 20:24 | Cheers wata | pillion
01/6/2013 19:57 | Pillion, If 8.8 MMcf/d is produced currently and current boepd is around 2700 (minus the 1000 or so produced from Uzen oil) that leaves around 1700 produced from gas (8.8 MMcf/d). 35 MMcf/d would equate to 4 x 1700 = 6800, add on Uzen = 7800 boepd. I'm sure I read somewhere they were planning to up production to 6000 beopd during 2013 but I suppose this depends on the plant throughput. Bit bored now, plenty more fish out there!! | wata1971
31/5/2013 11:23 | Lazy journo ... | tradermel
31/5/2013 10:17 | close to its processing capacity of 8.8 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d), and the upgrade is expected to expand capacity to 35 MMcf/d during How does that capacity convert to barrels of oil per day ? | pillion
31/5/2013 10:09 | Why thank you sir, having a few problems posting links and pics atm. Interesting comment on comparing prices ... could this give a insight into the lack of speculation on Siberia? http://www.bloomberg | tradermel
31/5/2013 10:03 | Worth a read from April http://www.rigzone.c Nice little article and sums up all the hope | tradermel
31/5/2013 09:53 | Looking back to last year the AGM is due about now and we should have got an RNS out with any news that will effect the share price that cannot be released at the AGM alone. | tradermel
31/5/2013 09:50 | Just one of its blips in activity that never effect the price. An oddity of VGAS. Getting frustrated at the lack of news now, going to mail a couple of Bod's, but will be surprised to get a reply. | tradermel
29/5/2013 21:30 | Loads of trades today, have I missed something? | wata1971
19/5/2013 11:54 | Just looking at RNS released this year (nearly 5 months now)just 4 in total. Preliminary results being the only one with any information in it regarding, production, progress etc. Other shares in the E & P of oil / gas I could mention pump out RNS fortnightly. Surely news now can't be far away, The major II holders of this | wata1971
13/5/2013 07:17 | Been holding far too long for a derisory 10% paper gain, and never intended as a long hold, but that is what it has turned into with the VM delay after delay. Wise money has gone elsewhere, the only thing that keeps me holding is the prospect of a rise in production (they must achieve that surely this year?) and there is less downside than a lot of other shares. zzzzzzzz | tradermel
12/5/2013 15:48 | Well this must be the most boring share ever. Not enough liquidity, no news. I wonder how long things actually take to construct in Russia, do they just get mortal on vodka everyday and play cards? I reckon full year 2013 results will not be much better than 2012, we are capped at 250,000 cubic meters per day max until completion of upgrade and authorisation by the relevant persons. It's half way through May already!! I actually sold half of mine several weeks ago (trade didn't even show at all)can't wait any longer although I will let the other half ride for the next year or so or until I feel it's best to sell (upon a spike maybe). I've made more profit in the last 4 weeks trading MONI with the cash from my VGAS shares. Still have faith, they just need to get their finger out and follow up with some positve RNS. | wata1971
09/4/2013 13:33 | Anyone for a Siberian excursion? still holding,... | tradermel
02/4/2013 09:38 | haha nice pun, currently reviewing my position | tradermel
02/4/2013 09:16 | .....not holding.... just a well wisher | pillion
02/4/2013 09:01 | Yes that is one aspect I was mildly concerned at, so nice confirmation there. The important parts are the Gas price firming, and Mikhail's hint below. Balenced out against the failure to deliver the upgrade to the Gas plant with no explanation given CURRENT TRADING AND OUTLOOK -- During January and February 2013 production has averaged 2,679 boepd. -- Oil and condensate selling prices net at the wellhead have remained firm at over US$50 per barrel and an 11.6% increase in our contract gas price to the equivalent of US$2.62 per mcf net of VAT came into effect on 1 January 2013. -- Plan to complete the gas plant upgrade and achieve full capacity of 35 mmcf/d during 2013. -- Plan to implement water separation at Uzenskoye at a cost of less than US$1.0 million. -- Sobolevskaya #11 well to add a new production stream during 2013. Mikhail Ivanov, Chief Executive of Volga Gas, commented: "We remain positive about the potential for growth, both in reserves and production from our five licences. However, we are also seeking value accretive opportunities beyond our existing licence areas, as we build a focused exploration and production business." Still holding .... | tradermel |
