28/6/2011 07:32 | Todays price move makes a mockery of my post 1433 ... should never have opened my gob! | tradermel
27/6/2011 13:35 | and more chance of fast movement when news comes .... | tradermel
27/6/2011 11:14 | It doesn't help that 60% of the shares are tightly held Less chance of a take-over imho | pillion
27/6/2011 11:12 | Comparing with other small oil companies VGAS ain't bad value Circa £100m value and producing a decent amount of oil and gas Excellent recent cashflow numbers I'm out of UK atm or I would be topping up | pillion
27/6/2011 09:51 | I reckon that 120p is a realistic target, but as a holder would hope 125p might be better. I'll be hopping mad if you get 100p, but cannot see negative reasons why it should (apart from oil price) | tradermel
27/6/2011 09:12 | Guessing Oilers are generally getting knocked by fall in barrel price. But I'm now looking for a price to jump back in at.... just haven't worked out what that might be yet. Can't see it falling back to 100p, but perhaps I'll stick with my 120p target then pile in. Any thoughts anyone, since the threads gone a bit quiet ! | anusol
20/6/2011 11:57 | This could be interesting too !! Drilling is continuing on the Yuzhny Romanovskaya-1 well in the Urozhainoye-2 licence area To date, the well has reached a depth of 1,244 metres and is drilling on to a target depth of approximately 2,800 metres to test the Bobrikovsly horizon, which is productive in the nearby fields. | djalan
18/6/2011 07:53 | Give the markets time to wake up. We can't sit at this price for long.$3.9M for May!!! Hello that could be $47M a year without the 2 VM wells connected. Markets subdued at the moment so not surprised it didn't rise further. We will all be handsomely rewarded soon. | wata1971
17/6/2011 21:46 | OPERATIONAL UPDATE Very welcome news, management keeping us informed A cash generator already !! I wonder why share price was marked down after good news ?? | pillion

17/6/2011 12:24 | Agreed it was a very good update and the futures looking bright here. Guess things were still looking pretty dire for the markets when the news came out at 8am. Hopefully peeps will have a look at their valuation once they're convinced the greek armageddons abated? | eric76
17/6/2011 11:35 | There is enough good news to come during the summer for this share to re-rate. Have a read for yourselves. As at 31 May 2011, Volga Gas had cash of approximately US$14.4 million and outstanding debts of US$9.0 million. The inclusion of the Dobrinskoye field and the rising revenues from Uzenskoye oil sales has significantly increased the Group's net operating cash generation. | tradermel
17/6/2011 07:21 | Excellent Ops Update this morning...... very impressed with rising production and cash revenues- looks to be a good play at these levels. | coscos

23/5/2011 11:29 | Added at 132 Bottom of trend lines? GL - SJ | sailing john
23/5/2011 08:06 | Still got a hunch that we'll be seeing 120p before we see 140p... at which point I may well jump back on board | anusol
23/5/2011 07:07 | Thx Pillion | tradermel
22/5/2011 11:51 | Found this at another finance forum mention in May 20 Money week - Finally, in Russia there is another energy company, Volga Gas (LSE: VGAS) which may be about to spread its wings. The firm was involved in a dispute over an agreement to use the gas-processing facilities of a neighbouring company This agreement fell through, trapping a large proportion of the company's reserves in the field unprocessed The company has now won its case and has agreed to take over the processing unit Yet Volga Gas is valued at only slightly over $2 per barrel of reserves, while other gas-producing companies in the region are on average worth double that So there is considerable upside potential as the company moves towards production | pillion |
