Tadtech - I agree. It wont much of a volume buy to lift this over the recent peak. is that a potential cup and handle formation? (I am a very ameteur chartist.)

This is very good news indeed. Should drive a decent re-rating in this illiquid stock.

Interesting commentary......... On-line limits still very strong. Buyers entering via Plus also. Taken down from £1.27p 2 weeks ago on low volume to fill an order?

With the market not being open until after lunchtime most players have probably given up and gone to the pub!!

Hasn't been a bad day today so far either 100-100.5p on the split on next to no trades. Looking good for a return to the recovery imo now the markets have settled again.

Yes I did too. Sounded like they'd come to an understanding rather than still fighting it out which has to be better for business. I was rather impressed with the speed of the answer too to be honest, wasn't sure I'd get a reply at all with the stock being so tightly held by larger investors. Good to know they still have time for pi's imo.

Interesting...Could this be about to turn again. It moved quickly to £1.25p a few weeks ago. The market makers have been very keen to take stock at the lower levels. It was possible to sell 25k on-line recently. Always a good sign! free stock charts from www.advfn.com

Yes I saw the trades at 105p and thought the same. Just waiting for the share price to justify our bullish thoughts here really then I sent them an email yesterday to ask about the trans Nafta legal process as the court case was for the 21st and got a reply today which I thought pretty good of them.. Thanks for your interest in Volga Gas. As you clearly follow the situation very closely, you will have seen that the hearing was delayed by a week by mutual agreement of the parties. We will continue to keep the market informed as to any material developments. Kind regards, Tony Alves alves@volgagas.com So hopefully a positive update soon..

eric76 I believe they are filling an order. There have been larger delayed trades above the 'advertised' price, 200k having gone through recently at £1.05p. Further on-line sell limits have been strong, which is unusual for a stock that is 'falling'. Smoke and mirrors here. It could go back to £1.20/£1.30 in a shot in my view.

Good to see the bid crawling up again. Have edited the above chart to show the golden X formed as the 100 d sma's now beginning to turn positive now too imo.

They've brought this through its supports on no volume at all the last few sessions. Gap filling this morning then perhaps the stock'll have a chance of filling the one it left behind around the 113p level? free stock charts from www.advfn.com

The late reported trades of 200k of shares were buys @1.05p completed yesterday. I am pretty sure the MM'ers have dropped this to accommodate a larger buyer. The company fundamentals remain unchanged in my view. Possibly a good time to pick up stock. No advice intended.

You could be right with your last comment. Interesting 2 100k buys reported after hours at 105. Someone happy to pay a premium for size.

There does appear to be something 'odd' about the pull back. Firstly it is on very low volumes and secondly the market makers are bidding aggressively for shares at these lower levels. I am wondering if they have a large institutional buy order to fill. With these illiquid stocks they can take the price where they like. I would not be surprised to see a strong rebound at some point. VGAS has a cash position of circa $25m and production of around 1500bopd. The market cap of £75m seems out of kilter with peers in my view. News will be the driver here, it cannot be far off either. With all the unrest in the Far East it makes Russian stocks safer bets currently!

Hmm. it would appear my entry point was not the smartest at 1.05. However it's an investment not a trade.
