07/2/2011 16:03 | Does it take into account the recent placement with uen though? Think that significantly added to their mrktcp. | eric76
07/2/2011 16:00 | Tadtech .. what that says to me is buy UEN | ihavenoclue
07/2/2011 14:35 | Based on the above table and revised to take account of recent share price movements Reserves valued at.......... Urals Energy.. $1.20 barrel Volga Gas......$2.18 barrel Petroneft......$5.05 barrel Exillon Energy.$6.55 barrel Both VGAS and UEN are miles apart from both Petroneft and Exillon on reserve valuation possibly due to the fact that both have been relatively inactive with the drill bit. VGAS intend to change that shortly, it shows that £2 is entirely possible as a target, even then their reserves would only be valued at $3.60 a barrel !! + Revised to take account of UEN placing on 20th Dec | tadtech
07/2/2011 10:22 | From a few months back, shows how both VGAS and UEN have some catching up to do compared to peers PTR and EXI | tadtech
07/2/2011 10:20 | Thanks for the posts all I joined the party this morning as it looks like the stocks attempting to breakout on rising volume. Left plenty of gaps on the way down too which will hopefully want to get filled soon. ATB for a decent run esp if oil holds up as it is. edited to add didn't realise fingers had done a chart on these, would defer to his in a shot. | eric76
07/2/2011 10:16 | Updated chart from chartist Fingers with target revised to £1.50p now the stock has broken resistance of £1.06...My eventual target of £2+ remains | tadtech
04/2/2011 08:21 | missed yesterdays action - but great to see things going well. Been sat here for 3 months waiting for everyone to notice the VGAS potetnial (and so was lucky enough to jump aboard at 79p :-) WHo knows how quickly this could go once positive RNS is released.... | anusol
04/2/2011 07:28 | Heading back to £2 in my view, very thin market too, the MM'ers were bidding aggressively for stock yesterday. Always a good sign. | tadtech
04/2/2011 06:55 | Still very much UNDER the radar this one imo :-) | vivgav
03/2/2011 16:56 | I did buy this morning at 107.39p :) | ihavenoclue
03/2/2011 16:54 | Almost bought in this morning :( | uggly buggly
03/2/2011 14:51 | The last trading update was in early November so I would expect news is due. This could easily run to £2+, at that price the market cap would be £160m with cash of $25m and possible return of $20m cash or plant to that value dependent on the legal result. Production is running at circa 1500bopd with plans to further increase this into 2011. Two wells are expected to be drilled in H1. As well as all this VGAS could benefit from proposed tax changes. There is also takeover activity in the sector. The current market cap of £96m looks far too low. | tadtech
03/2/2011 13:57 | Up she goes !! | ihavenoclue
03/2/2011 12:52 | Nice move today so far. No obvious resistance until 140. | protean
03/2/2011 12:10 | A few are starting to see the value here. UEN and VGAS are 2 of the most undervalued Ruskie oil plays on the AIM in my view after last years strong rises at PTR and EXI and a lesser extent at MTA. The chartist seems to have gotten it about right, the break above £1.06p is significant it seems. | tadtech
03/2/2011 09:44 | Moving up on L2 Can sell 4x more than you can buy currently. Says it all. Hopelessly undervalued in my book. Well funded, cash at 1st Nov 2010 $25m, positive cash generation also. Drilling activity in H1..2 wells planned Likely positive outcome to Legal situation which dogged VGAS through 2010...News expected shortly, could gain another $20m or same value in plant. Stable production of c1500bopd Solid institutional shareholder base, small free float, only 80m shares in issue...moves fast! Rising oil prices, could benefit from improved tax regime in Russia Newsflow expected | tadtech
03/2/2011 09:01 | This will rocket on small volume.I hope. | pilky3
02/2/2011 17:40 | This is definitely one of the few among junior oils that's got good value in this market. A low risk producer with a solid team and low cost production | irlon
02/2/2011 07:33 | News bulletin from Rencap this morning re possible tax changes, main points being............. Even partial changes will send a positive signal to the sector and investors. We estimate the 60/66 regime alone could boost the 2011 EBITDA of integrated oil companies by 5.8% on average. We do not think Russian oil stocks currently price-in the potential changes, as the investment community has remained sceptical until recently. Accordingly, we think the announcement, if it comes, could be a big catalyst for the whole sector, which has underperformed the broader market over the past year. Independent E&P companies stand to benefit the most on a relative basis VGAS would benefit of course, how much longer will this company remain below radar I wonder. A re-rating will happen at some point. | tadtech
01/2/2011 07:47 | I tend to agree with the chartist. News cannot be far away. Note the increased volume suggesting a further move is on the cards shortly. | tadtech
28/1/2011 06:59 | nice chart coverage by fingers over on the £1 thread | vivgav
25/1/2011 08:28 | Can only buy 500 shares on-line this morning. Kill and fill orders only it seems. The MM'ers clearly trying to suppress buyers which usually bodes well. Next stop £1.40 ???? | tadtech
24/1/2011 15:56 | Looks like they have cut off on-line trading. No doubt that the MM'ers are short of stock having run a level book for months. Probably did not expect any PI demand. No wonder this moves quickly, the uptrend should continue IMO. | tadtech
24/1/2011 13:35 | Great to see new investors/traders on the VGAS thread - things looking bright. Expecting further surges when the next RNS comes out. | anusol |
